I see love-drenched heart
Through the deep shades of heaven
Pouring down nectar
As thunder echoes its beat.
All else is oblivion!
Colors of the rainbow glow,
In shades of diversity;
Light brings changing, shifting hues;
To sky’s family.
Twin shades of a noble bird
simmer in copper
as I forego the pigskin
for soft, sleepy, sweet
cranberry burnished
succulent
meat!
Freedom is the colour pink
that I can now display
after horrible shades of grey
that led my world astray,
Poetically pink in sync.
