Leaves in shades of red and gold Magnificent to see But since they only last one year I'd rather be a tree

did you mean that leaves only last a season? the "year" is throwing me off here. i'm not sure I understand, except the overall general concept that the leaves lives are fleeting, whereas trees live for many years.

I think so too, tis the life of the tree for me!(I think weeping willow would be nice to be!)
