The High School Two Step
Another boy at the high school dance
Seeking love and a little romance
The cutest girl smiled
I bowed quite beguiled
And it ripped out the seat of my pants...

Cupid Pulls Back the Bow
Love Stuck
It started out as a cheek to cheek dance
an invitation to come take a chance
cupid pulls back the bow
letting love’s arrow go
now it’s stuck in the seat of my pants.

Mercury and Venus Schooled Me
Mercury rolled her eyes and dragged me to my seat
Making me sit there for ten minutes
I tried to sneak away and she caught me
By the seat of my pants
She gave me a kick and I landed on Venus
Venus was not as kind

I Contradict I
By the skin of my teeth
Surviving by wit
Heart on my sleeve
But shirts never fit
Lucky I’m funny
Or it would be a true shame
I haven’t got money

But I don’t like to fly
By the seat of my pants
I contradict I
Every given chance...

Nowhere Men
Nowhere Men
Roads have been long ones, for many an old man
who traversed every path, without having a plan.
Always flying, vicariously, by the seat of our pants.
Fighting many a battle, never in states of rants.
We just bears it, and carry on with the good fight
as our days, on gossamer wings, take flight
into accepting that journey, into that good night
as we wonder, ponder all that laid before our sight.

My Son Stole My Credit Card
My teenage son decided to steal my credit card.
I put him over my knee and spanked him hard.
He's been a pain in the butt ever since he first peed in my face.
He spent five thousand dollars in one day, it's truly a disgrace.
He bought stuff at pawn shops and it can't be returned.
As he rubbed the seat of his pants, there was a lesson that he learned.
He learned what happens when people steal from me.
Now that his butt is sore, he's as sorry as he can be.
(This is a fictional poem.)...
