Mercury and Venus Schooled Me

Mercury rolled her eyes and dragged me to my seat
Making me sit there for ten minutes
I tried to sneak away and she caught me
By the seat of my pants

She gave me a kick and I landed on Venus
Venus was not as kind
She had no love for Gemini
That was Mercury’s air sign

I was much more respectful upon my return
A day of cosmic reckoning
That will teach me to behave
Today anyway; my attention span is weak.

I was an absolute student in my classes. Teachers absolutely loved me or absolutely despised me. There was no in between.
