Shrike Bird Supper

A fat scorpion crawls towards the snake
And the shrike bird is watching from afar
To pounce on both of them
At an amazing speed
So that both of them
shall be his supper

Sixteen Seasons

It was all upon you. Its all but you:
the brokenness, the wickedness,
the wilderness.

Sixteen seasons.
Obsolete for mere reasons,
taught a boy valuable lessons.

The scorpion and the frog:
its me but you.

Beyond the Waterhole

Wandering in the desert
profanity infused me
Each word like a scorpion
the curses on fire

The sand an abrasive
the cactus a warning
The sting of my words
—killing prophet and liar

Scorpion

Scorpion and frog
 went on a journey
unable to swim,
scorpion was carried by frog
journey ended
but scorpion lifted tail high
“Friend what are you about to do?”
“sting you for sure
If I do not sting you
 I can’t live”

Not Worth a Cent

A red cent was just a cent,
Good old days,
Now it's bought at 110 dollars,
A scorpion was poisonous,
Good old days,
Now it's sold at 110 dollars in business,
A scorpion no worth a cent,
Good old days, like our now economy!

Synecdoche of Predators

Scorpion

In the piles of wood,
a lizard was nipped by the
tail with a stinger.

Eagle

A pair of wide wings
flapping in the air swooped down
upon a serpent.

Alligator

Fangs in the river
quietly waits for a prey,
attacking the duck.

Scorpionegge

Scorpion sting is more painful
than the venom of a snake;
headache,cold,fever coupled
with peppery feelings.

On lifting the old wet brick,
It moves swiftly to 'bite me',
Scorpionegge sensation flows
through my vein to Gwen.

Hurricane

A chasms depth, intuitively lunar The sum of my parts, I wish I understood sooner For in me, the Moon is an ephemeral form The convergence of water and air is a perfect storm Inside the eye of a raging hurricane Dwells a scorpion that lives to heal others' pain

Scorpion

Did you hear about my pet scorpion
Who was a world chess champion
If he doesn't like a chess move you're planning to do
He will put the stinger to you
So in every match he competed
He would remain undefeated
You may ask why I would keep such a pet
I haven't figured that out yet

Eagle Feather of the First Born...

Pegasus on wings will fly
Hercules in strength nearby
Seven sisters dancing stars
Saturn rings,red glow Mars
Mercury avoids scorpion tail
Venus and virgins follow trail
Fresh water poured Aquarius
Nearby to scour is Uranus
Fish swim out new solar race
Original jewels alignment face......

Sign

Scorpion is crying among
The trees behind the pilled weeds;

Dreaming and drinking with ecstasy
Where the earthly angels as conquered
Knights watched her from the Orca of Faytherin,

Which the melting ground seemed
To grow in fire and nothing was left

Under the faithful umbrella
Of a crazy lover.

Simile Whim

Once upon a whim
As the excavating limb
of a tractor under-tucked
the feed it hoisted up,
It seemed as though it goes
Akin to an elephant’s nose.

When later the machine
Departed from the scene
With scary points hung in
beneath the folded limb,
Its appearance was akin
to a giant scorpion.

Listen My Friend

A scorpion stings, does not massage
A snake bites, does not lick
Water runs down-hill
Clouds are mobile in the sky
God is invisible and holy

If you see scorpion that massages
Snake that licks its victim
Water that flows uphill
Clouds that live in trees
God that is seen and worldly
Then introspect

Who Am I

I have a little sting saved up for you
Because I am not fond of your species.
Most arachnids aren’t.
But I do not have to stay an arachnid.
I can shapeshift into knotted cords with lead spikes.
I can be found in the desert
Or in the Bible
Book of Kings.
My tail is treacherous
Who am I?

Speechless Lives

The viper has venom in its teeth
The Scorpion in its tail
And a frustrated man in his soul
We humans are the most heavenly sent
Out of all the lives God has made
We are lucky enough to receive His grace
Out from His heart made no mistake
He still restore all His creation
That's why Noah loaded his ark
Only with speechless lives.

who would wear that

She is new to our community
A woman who wears a scorpion necklace
Who would wear that? Some naysayers wonder aloud.
I have a cousin, an aunt and know two drag queens who would.
I keep my mouth shut as the conversation commences.
Wondering if I should tell them about my favorite book.
“You cannot afford the luxury of a negative thought.”

Forever Amber

A Scorpion entombed in Amber Life frozen in the passage of time Eyes fixed in cold gaze As if enraged and amazed At a fate so unforgiving …So unkind… It’s body will never know Ruin or rot Never again feel The heat or the cold Nor will it suffer A fate even tougher To ne’er know what it’s like …To grow old…

She Is Mine

SHE IS MINE
Once you see her pass aside
She is bitter more than you can imagine
She is poisonous more than a snake
More than a scorpion
I cannot say she a killer
But it may happen by emergence
Although to me she is sweet more than bee’s honey
More than everything in the world
I warn you off
Never approach her
She is mine.

Worth In Christ

Forget what they call you, drunk or weed head
Whether you got class or got a weird beard
Names are just names, find worth in God's grace
Face reality, you can't defend your own case
Gotta let Jesus in and let Him do Him...
He's the way, He's the truth and the life I know Him
His blood like scorpion, screams, 'get over here'...
This is no mortal kombat flow, its not a warfare

beware of scorpions

beware of arachnids of the worst type
I speak of scorpions, this is no hype
they have a serious sting and venom too
found in deserts and grasslands, they make you blue

a cousin of spiders, ticks, and the tiny mite
this mini lobster’s tricks are worse than dynamite
beware my child of this dangerous predator so fine
His whip tail will sting and kill you if you get out of line
