Angel Hair - dodo

spun from silver threads their hair
is twinkling with spirit light
Glints that scintillate, with love
Angel's hair a flow

Protostar

Will you live with me forever
will you scintillate my dreams
Holding title to my wishes
the island in my stream

Will you live with me forever
in a fantasy so wild
Making love to the hereafter
—our one and only child

Premium Member Embracing Solitude

To Savor Silence – silken snow;
to scrawl my words, and yet to be sedate . . .
then scatter them to sky to scintillate
as stars that shimmer in a fireworks show.
To seize each sacred second – not to stray.
Once inside of silence, why slip away?
Embracing solitude, I take it slow.

eternal breath

crystal cluster scintillate on etheric arm silvery
throned in centre I sit pert alert
observing galaxies glitter gloriously at golden gate
silent stars circling dance luminosities, flawlessly
ordained with eternal breath echoing eerie
I shake ringed jewels from cobalt space ~

Lunar Response

Dear Mr Green
I'll try my best
To grant this night
Your fond request

I'll scintillate
And play my part
To captivate
Her distant heart.

In hope that she
Will see the light
And think of you
This lambent night.

With gleaming stars
The skies are strewn
Your old accomplice -

Mr Moon

Well-Kept Secrets

Shamelessly in front you strut
in your flimsy swimming suit,
curves and cleavage exposing
aimed to rouse and scintillate.

Stop! don't waste time on me
showing off what men had seen;
bare yourself and go naked,
you won't interest me still.

The flesh you fully reveal
is far from what I'm after;
it is the secrets you keep
that I want to uncover.

Premium Member Esperance

Esperance, where kangaroos saunter beaches
and turquoise waters lie like a boomerang
snared beneath a lapis sky and snow-white sand.
Coral pink lakes scintillate in golden sun;
which late will shadow bronze ochre fossil spumes.
Red-legged silver seagulls "kwee-war" overhead;
in the distance, surfers ride the Cyclops waves;
children take an ice cream down in Hellfire Bay.

Premium Member Encounter With An Angel

I have imagined an encounter
with an Angel

Most likely, it will be
on some opalescent morn
when the lumbering gait of clouds
meets the raphsody of dawn with
ribbons of light

Where I, in some perennial field,
in sadness wait-

With a message aureate,
she will step blithely, and
O the sight of wings will scintillate
to coax from me, a new belief

There is more to life and dreams
than what seems transient.

Landscape

Watching the hills of emerald
above the cottage all aglow--
the night reaches a commanding lull
its talcum sand glints and shines,
a layered palette to behold
where rocks scintillate,
cascading through drips of dew .
I spy my bottle near wet marbles
and capture how the silhouettes play
contrasting the trees' grandeur,
lustrous as an artist's easel
holding the tints of colors--
On dipped fingers soiled
with unfinished grandeur.

Spring

'Roses from all nations scintillate in complete harmony'
Beautiful birds chirp many wonderful melodies
The cool breeze blows through my hair
Bees buzzing, and neighbours humming
Oh what a wonderful sight it is
When the bright sun comes out to play
Its rays shine golden and shimmer away
The children play outside all day
A perfect day for a picnic today
Don't stay home, go out and have fun
Why it's sunny and beautiful
It's spring everyone!

Fires

We all have fires.
Some burn quickly,
Fiercely,
Until nothing remains
But ash and smoke.
Some fires scintillate
In the darkness,
Emanating a vermillion glow
As embers smolder.
Others burn endlessly
It seems,
Flames jumping up
And retreating back down
In a dance that cycles
Over and over again.
Some fires spread
Beyond the pit in all directions,
Becoming an uncontrollable
Force that leaves
The landscape charred
And crumbling
In its wake.

Premium Member Imperial City

The storm erupted
from a charcoal-bruised sky
lashing spindles
of platinum rain
upon an emerald heath
tossed in trenchant wind.

Among the hedgerows and linden
the first spires emerged
like shoots from turned loam
followed by the pitch
of tiled-stone roofs
and pewter walls
of lambent unblemished granite.

The damp auburn clay,
etched by a teal river,
birthed a soaring imperial city,
its cerulean patina to ever scintillate
in sun's timeless effulgence.
