Dear Mr Green
I'll try my best
To grant this night
Your fond request
I'll scintillate
And play my part
To captivate
Her distant heart.
In hope that she
Will see the light
And think of you
This lambent night.
With gleaming stars
The skies are strewn
Your old accomplice -
Mr Moon
