Koi Pond

Blue sky reflecting in the koi pond Rays of the golden sun sparkling Bringing koi to the surface Wanting to be admired Showing their colors Glistening scales Like rainbows Colors Gold And Orange Tone breaking Surface for food Causing wide ripples To float on the surface Where embracing the sun rays The koi pond rapidly glimmers Like cut diamonds will scintillate.

You made your own trophy Milton, and you deserve it with this exciting and exquisitely penned Nonet. Great job

Thanks, Lasaad. The trophy was certain unintentional, but interesting how it turned out. Thanks for your thoughts.

Spot on, Milt. Until I sold up 6 years ago. This was my business. I owned an aquatic and angling centre, selling Koi and other pond fish, tropical fish and angling equipment. You’d be surprised how many people say Koi Carp which actually means carp carp. Full marks for accuracy and for your poem. Terry

Our neighbour used to ask me to feed his koi when he was away, so relaxing to watch and as you said, the amazing colours. Love the layout. Enjoy your week. Tom

Thank you, John. I thought it turned out rather well. Looks a bit like a trophy, doesn't it?
