Tess
What's there scarier than death?
Whispered John with a full yawn,
Glanced over at sleeping Tess,
Moved away an inch - well done!...

Premium Member Don'T Yell At Your Kids
I never yell at my kids. I lean in very close and then whisper.
I've found this method to be more effective and a hell of a lot more scarier....

My dreams have been

Scarier than reality

Like nails raking down a blackboard

Not the fluffy happy stuff

You wish you never wake up from...

Goblins and witches
And then Frankenstein appears
The world is scarier now
Things calm down a bit
Devil banshee laughs at me
Guess what? I love Halloween!...

Alone
I wish someone could hug me
and tell me it's ok,
these tears are only temporary,
I'll smile another day.
But to let another person in
and admit to all my fears,
is scarier than this emptiness
that pierces like ten spears....

A Tired Beast
Like a hungry vampire, pursues me loneliness
Scarier than sharp canines for me human phoniness
I feel myself a tired beast in the jungle
Which life has driven into a blind angle
But is calling ahead brutal struggle
Who knows - if will find me buddle?...

Halloween In Spring
Sometimes I think
I enjoy fear
remembering what I felt
when I was fearless.

I awake bravely
in the morning knowing
risks and hearing continuous
portents, sad words

follow me everywhere.
Is silence the scariest thing,
or is the gabble of human
voices scarier still?...

Premium Member If Guns Are Outlawed
"If Guns Are Outlawed, Only Outlaws Will Have Guns."
I've heard that over used expression since gun control begun,
but here is an even scarier thought in my opinion;
"If Guns Are Outlawed, Only Government Will Have Guns,"
and I for one do not find that thought at all comforting....

Premium Member You Look Scary
One old barber who confesses he's weird
Persuades his clients to cut off their beards --
   Quoth he, "You look scary!"
   Razors them un-hairy --
Screams they're even scarier fully sheared

One Last Breathe
breathing faster,
Getting scarier,
Hoping,
Praying,
For the best.
Taking time to think,
made a decision,
just put her down.
Breathing slower,
looking sicker.
The tears,
are streaming down.
The hope is fading,
We all know,
she is going to die.
Pet her,
one last time,
she breathes,
one last breath,
and shes gone.
Right,
in my arms....

Partner-Less Sex
Love is stranger with a stranger
Without a partner it is dangerous
With someone in the dark
Imagination wonders are you there
Feeling around there are no walls or floors

No one found about the house might seem bizarre
But what if you were not there
That would be scarier
Partner-less sex is hard work
Without a bed it is ridiculous...

The Shadow Person
It was an old house that we searched
For a young girl who had been missed
So we went down to the basement area
We searched by torchlight as it was even scarier

And I swept the torchlight around
A shadow the shape of a person walked down
As we went quickly to the place then
Where we did not find anything in the end.

The Pearl
She is the pearl in my shell
In the heart of my harbor
When I pull into port
She keeps on pulling me starboard
Into her ocean of love
In fact, the only thing scarier
Than a clouded night landing
On the deck of a carrier
Is a moment without her
I want to shout her name
Out and then marry her
I want to drown in
The currents that carry her...

The Powerful Government
The powerful government,
Twisting and shaping us like new born cement,
Using us for its personal protective barrier,
Each of us are added as another brick in the wall,
Growing and expanding it becomes even more scarier,
Until a small group finds truth and breaks away leaving it to fall,
Its deceitful ways have now lead to no government at all...

BYE ERN
BYE ERN

There once was a man from Bavaria
Whose actions could not be scarier
In the woods where he lurked
And at night where he worked
It was designated as a no-go area

But at heart he was a secretive guy
Of ill repute, but couldn’t see why
All those songs that were sung
About him being well hung
From a tree in the woods so high

There's an old witch who lives on a hill
She eats ghouls and goblins for a thrill
This mean old witch just loves to kill
She would catch her prey near the town mill
Next time you’re near the hill, you’ll feel a chill

This is sample for my latest contest. I’m sure you all will write one scarier and I can't wait.

In My Eyes
I got the eyes of a tiger.
Can you see the fire?
World filled with liars.
Lies is what they are trying to sell, they are looking for a buyer.
What they got is scarier than michael myrers.
Why does money have power?
Why does 8,765 people die in an hour?
Because the world is filled with cowards
Let's make it better and shoot up a tower.
The truth is not always sweet but sour-Mario Perez

A Little About Myself
Breathing underwater
Deep in the arctic
Yet my skin grows hotter
Bench pressing the weight
Of the world without a spotter
No creature is scarier
Than the human monster
Been told to go kill myself
By my own loving father
Hated and despised
By my own blood brother
Now you know why I'm
Too much of a renegade to act proper
Razor blades and grenades
Underneath my pillow covers
Can't wait for tomorrow
And see what I'll discover...

Premium Member Afraid
Creaking floorboards, banging doors
Moans and grunts fill the air.
The atmosphere seems heavy and thick
suffocating everything as it swirls.

Lunging shadows that chase after you
as you slip terrified through the trees.
Rustling sounds in the undergrowth
have you whirling round to nothing.

They take on new meaning in the
dark of the night made scarier
by ourselves and our fear of what
lurks where we can not see. "The Darkness"....

Lifeline
jacks my name
i used to drink
destroying my body
what did i think
couldn't see the real world
hid in a bottle ,just to be safe
 it was a scarier place
like a ship that's sinking
i was going down
head just above water
im almost drowning from the inside out
throw me a life ring
and clear my doubt
you sailed by ,and threw me a line
now out of the water i feel fine
saved my life ,yes you did
stopped me from dying when i was a kid.
thankyou...

Premium Member Young Queen of the Witches
The cynical witches watched the night air
In slid a broom without fuss or any fanfare
On her stick was a small witch, her name was Claire
She was the queen of the witches, and she gave a stare

She is so young! Hagmouth said, I thought she would be scarier.
I heard she was ape-like said another. I thought she would be hairier.
I did not know what to expect said a witch who was usually merrier.
Claire flipped her broom and flew straight into their barrier....

Premium Member Haunted
It must be fun; being a ghost. Just knock bang and give things a rattle. Providing a good scare. We, the living, are easily scared. We know when we’ve a ghost. Haunted houses have many, knocks, bangs and rattles. With haunts, even the walls rattle. In the dark night it’s scarier. Point your camera at the air and you may photograph a ghost. Pray that your ghost is nice; tolerate its rattling and never show that you’re scared.
