Sans Servile

In sang-froid, sass cords:
Sangoma dashes siren,
Thunder crashes trunk;
Sarky banters with lippy.
Spim for Santa maidenhead.

Sea hangover sans booze

            the Sea drinks no booze
           why then It has hangover
              if drinks pure water

Can't break out of this limerick scene It's amazing, so far my limericks are clean Can't promise you though The true me may show When I finally go around sans jeans

Sans Contrast

Sans contrast...
      Being
     aim to be ...
      it moves
      the world...
      Having,
      eager just to have,
       without being...
      it destroys
      the world...

Sans Pen

Is there no pen in sight
Or tablet to inscribe
How may I then enthrall
Visions to Imbibe

So, I raise my glass
To merry thoughts of Spring
Far beyond the lull of Fall
Sans pen, I may drink

Premium Member Cletus O'Toole's Navy Career Sank Sans a Trace

Cletus joined the Navy on a fool whim

And was told he needed to learn to swim

He was launched off the dock

And he sank like a rock

The Navy straightaway got rid of him

Me and You, You and Me Moi Sans Toi

in anguish
of uncomfortable nights
I miss the pillow
of your soft body...
I miss the water
from your mouth source...
of the voluptuous perfume
of your bare lap,
of burning alchemy
of your sex...
I miss you
without me... !

Sans Culottes

Though he hasn’t got a penny
And he hasn’t got a pot
There is nothing in his pocket
He’s a man who’s sans culottes
But he’s really rather happy
Though he doesn’t have a sou
He’s got freedom and there’s no one
Who can tell him what to do

A sizable portion of my life
I've passed, slobbering over
The antagonistic ashes
Of an untruth.

Years down the road,
By accident, I exposed;

Though this untruth,
Was deeply entombed in my psyche,
Via a mental backhoe,
Satan periodically excavates it
Sans a spade.

When you look do you see
How the story goes?
Join in the fun as pun moves
Wit and humour in brisk grooves
Where even laughter enjoys
And even transcends the mood
As moments blush briefly
In the vibrant air

Sans Dreams We Do Not Live

If the dream dies,
            life is a horse
            cripple who no longer
            will run anymore ...

             if the dreams are gone,
             life will be a river
             dry and ephemeral
             without solution ever ...!

Do you now hear
The music strains
My precious dear
That speak most plain.
Faint echoes hint
To cast a spell
With primal mint
As if to tell.
Wind-blown murmurs
Lift the cold air,
Chilly tremours
In quaint affair.
Watch curtains fall
In empty hall.

Why do time and space contrast
In the blunt convergence of loss?
Watch now as change devours
Time in the puzzling quandary
Of portent conflicts that arise
For each soul must bear witness
To the ethereal mortality
That feels so solid and real

Where Nights Reign Sans Dawn

My love of nature began
With an awe-struck scan
Of skies, how starry strings pan
Out to yon of yon,
Nights where reign and there’s no dawn.

Who then can you trust to confer
A viable and personal salvation?
Philosophy is surely a means
To a higher perspective
Where a guiding light shows
The way home to grand immortality
To take the road not taken
In that poignant glimpse of insight

somewhere
red poppies
                   grow
fertilised
              by blood
              sun
and
       winter snow
lost
      freedoms
                      seed
on widow's
                   weeds
       sadness flows
to that
    no-mans land
    where
    there
           are
                but crows

Normality is what I seek but the
world revolves in its sans-serendipity.
So many extra days thrown in, you see
the world on its own course, no one takes pity.

I enter boredom in another world.
I’m not in control of anything real.
But the the dog warms up my feet, unfurled;
my heart wanes of anxiety, and I’m healed.

Where flair meets good grace
Do you trace your fine splurge?
Hope has a way of telling
How the emerging light shines
Despite the disruptive blurs
That impede conscious knowing
Even as faith nurtures peace of mind
In the somewhat abrasive confrontation

Sans Dream and Sans Love

I searched in shortcuts
in the depths of the desert
in the crossroads
from central avenues
my course and route...

I lost myself without dreams,
I found myself entangled in fears
never felt before...
lost without love
and homeless, I discovered
I was missing everything...
Without dream and without love,
no one lives...!

Which path makes more sense
If choice is the reasonable poise?
No wonder then that you forfeit
The security that grounds and binds
For it may yet be good to risk
Such adversely vain consequences
For counterpoise yields balance
Beyond the scope of blind odyssey

To dangle in the dying trance
Of dreamy dance in spoilt chance
In the fastidious pursuit
Of empty distractions that reign corrupt
Where even a sense of plain decency
Is drenched with insidious charm
That render meaning hopeless
To redemption and sublime finesse

Each end begins a new spin
As impulse meets odd boundaries
Each start embraces the end
As assorted personas tangle
In a disturbing web of circumstance
Beyond the grasp of simple notions
In the complex seduction of the simple
Where fickle fancy consorts with madness
