David Pasternak:
For scoring goals, he really has a knack.
With him, I only have one beef:
He scored the goal that sank my Maple Leafs!!!
There once a dare devil named Dan
smugly swung with only one hand
forgot and let go
of the rope in tow
sank in a thick pool of quicksand.
Friends said their marriage would not last
Now fifty-years have slowly passed
Hand-in-hand
Gland-in-gland
The two of them have had a blast!
I sank into the rosy waters, my
skin sensing silken dreams fading soft,
to blissful dreaming on passionate tides.

ICEBERG
Iceberg in the ocean
Implicit danger then
In transit to New York
Injury to the hull
Impossible to float
Into the depths she sank
When Hank wanted to pull a prank
He would have God Himself to thank
sank into a corrupt bankrupt bank
Haiku Sort of o would love from above
I held her cold hand
She silently slipped away
I sank into tears
Her gift is on the table
I wrapped it myself, today.
Bite Size Poem No. 13
A very rich lady from Burbank,
Was in a canoe when it sank,
Her fur and diamonds got lost
In the watery impost,
As she dog-paddled her way to the bank.
A man tossed a snake in a lake
to the bottom I thank, that It sank
and it sit there awhile
with a big fang smile
cause it needed a bath; for it stank!
Once I saw a man rob a bank
He ran out leaving the bank blank
He ran away in a boat
He thought was great, the G.O.A.T
But the boat was cheap, so he sank
There was no place to wade
in the stagnant pools of Corona.
The virus sank our feet into the mire.
Help was on the way, as we submerged
into the cesspool.
A jack-o-lantern gazed into my eyes
Then tried to eat me as a prize
His sharp teeth then sank
Into the crack of my crank
Then he rolls out wearing a disguise
THE SHIP
I was stood on the deck of a ship
When I swallowed a big orange pip
My beating heart sank
And my poor stomach shrank
So I just let a massive one rip
THERE WERE ICE CHUNKS IN THE POOL
THIS POOR MAN SHUFFLED LIKE A FOOL
WHEN HE JUMPED IN AND SANK
HIS SKIN TURNED LIKE PINK
PEOPLE THOUGHT HE WAS JUST PLAYING COOL
His three pointer was clearly a tank
His perfect shot just wouldn’t sank
So, he snatches the net down
And starts to act like a clown
Silly acting clown did the crank
I
Her name rhymes with serene
Patience unheard of - unseen
God sent me my queen
II
Hope fluttered, sank low
Stagnating whirlpool edges
Then the flow - loves cascade
There were ice chunks in the pool
While the poor man shuffled like a fool
When he jumped in and sank
His skin turned light pink
People thought, he was just playing cool
There once was a fellow named Jim
Who always kept himself slim and trim
But as he got older
He got big as a boulder
And sank to the bottom when he swimmed!
in the square, light encircled
choristers of yule
who incanted charmingly
as the dew sank cool
on their rouge berets,
cardinal cloaks with green socks—
a cordant bouquet
Large prank
Barge sank

There was a girly landlubber in pink
Who to a burly fisherman was linked --
Not a swimmer, she sank
In his great big fishtank --
Now in winter she's a frozen ice rink
