Unsinkable

She grew resplendent on the docks, Growing upwards from below, A magnificent sight to behold, A luxurious hotel to sail the sea, Rich, famous and poor all looked on in awe, "Unsinkable" they said, But mistakes where made, Hitting an iceberg below, she slowly sank, Some saved but most died, The fascination with the Titanic to be evermore, Sitting on the bottom of the sea bed rusting away, A monument for those that stayed on board.
