SWEET OR SALTY

          We're sweet, or salty,
      depends on reason and sight...
         salt or sweet...let's fight...!

Grr! I don't want to apply to work
anywhere with high-sodium food;
I'd feel tempted, and my kidney stones
might come back-- no good!

sitting in the corner

Traitor.”

Jelly Fish

I want to become a jelly fish.

Premium Member The Salty Navigator

They are steered like rudders on ships
Their port lies between my two lips
My day is a drag
Lest my mouth snags a bag
Of Doritos Nacho Cheese Chips

Salty Pleasures

Your tears have nourished me,
I haven't tasted even a drop of water for a very long time,
I have been hydrated with salty pleasures...
The grateful tree

Warm Salty Blood

room full of ashes
remnants of
poems
nauseous odour of
the drunken
night
warm salty blood
discharging on
your open
mouth
faceless orbiting
moons

Salty and Sweet Limerick

Is it sweet or salty or sour?
Brimming with happiness or always dour?
Prancing, living with gaiety
Or waiting for a guillotine
Now standing forever to scour?
Form: Limerick

Sweet N' Salty

Pecan, pumpkin, apple or key lime;
I save room for dessert every time.
To really make me swoon,
and bark out at the moon
Salted caramel cheesecake is sublime!

Shall It Be Salty Or Sweet

Shall It Be Salty or Sweet?

Salty or sweet what shall it be?
What is one that is right for me?
Salty is fine,
But sweet is on my mind,
So I’m in a bind, you see!
Form: Limerick

As I Leave the Salty Sands

After the oceans salty sands
I dive into the deep blue
T shirt, and let it flow over me
Jump into my shorts
Wade into my shoes
and leave the shore
For dry land

LIBRA TALE

Sweet and Sour hectic sign
Love me, trust me, the stars align

Premium Member Sweet Or Salty

She loved sweet nothings whispered in her ear.

Her guy used salty slang when filled with beer.

"A lady I am!" she said.

"Clean up your act or drop dead!"

He's slept 'neath the sod for nearly a year!

The Salty Sea of Misery

When the tears dry,
The salt remains,
Salt in the wound
Of unhappiness

When the tears dry,
The eyes are sore
They've served no purpose,
There's always more

Always more,
Pain to endure,
The tears will flow
Again I'm sure

Premium Member Salty Snack

Saltiest of flats
Plainly addictive
Bag crinkles open
We eat them in two’s
Not a bit healthy

Tiny pieces
Casserole tops
Picnic staple
Bring a bag please

High salt taste
Greasy too
Teen delight

Crinkly
Salty

Chips

Salty
12/07/2018

Lovely luscious lips

Perfect pink pleasure

Devine deliciousness drips

Tantalising tasty treasure

Sticky sweet sensuous

Aroma arouses olfactory

Feminine feline fabulous

Glutinous orgasmic glory

Salty Rain

With the greyness of the sky above
The sky is crying
Resembling the soul of someone in pain
Hopelessness falling from the sky
Like tears from the eyes
As it beats the ground
The pain of loss is tattooed on the soul
For a lifetime

Not Salty Or Sweet

Goldilocks entered
    The cottage and felt hungry
       Three bowls of porridge
One was too salty, one was
Too sweet and one was just right*

*very loosely based on the famous fairytale

Premium Member Stay Salty

Violently mimic the wind,
stay salty yet flow like water;
With an attitude stay thick skinned,
violently mimic the wind;
Keep poetry neat and well penned,
then punctuate it to slaughter;
Violently mimic the wind,
stay salty yet flow like water.

Premium Member Sweet And Salty

There is a sweetness in the sky
chunky salt permeates the sea.
Perfumed petals on wishes fly,
there is a sweetness in the sky.
They wait patient for a reply
to a wish to be loved deeply.
There is a sweetness in the sky
chunky salt permeates the sea.
