Profundity

It is not the size of the brain that constitutes high intelligence

It is the profundity of the essence within that exudes radiance

Bless the deviled eggs and the preacher’s children.
Grab a piece of fried-to-perfection chicken.
Coca-cola cake or banana pudding?

Mimes

Maneuvering a maze
muddled and dazed but not
      mixed-up, I decided
my life must change in all
      mimes. The mirror I see
me via denies me
      my rumination of [?].

Muse on the loose

Boundless rumination ..
is like
meandering abyssal,
as plethora
of thoughts deluges,
Unable to
find direction,
Diving endlessly,
Till a poem
born at last
merely by default.

We've all seen it
their cloying intensity
to the new cause:
tobacco cessation,
gluten-free digestion,
mindful rumination,
deep cleanse elimination,
erotic poetry,
for the lucky
erotic reality,
alcohol abstinence,
Yahweh's deliverance.
And we can only
smile and nod
knowing
this too will pass.

Face

Sedated in a worried state, he awaits for the promise.
Borrowed time ticks away the waves of today, waves forgotten.
Repetition has infected his rumination, the waves wash water onto a cloudy shore.
Reflections.
Reflections that mask his biological being, beginning with his face.
It is going nowhere, here to remain, lost on the cloudy shore.
Don't dare look upon it.

This Is All I Have

This is all I have
Shredded heart
Rhapsodic essence
Grimace on the face
Cacophony in the ears
This is all I have
Lost talisman
Waiting for a serendipitous
Ineffable rumination
With an ephemeral existence
This is all I have
Mellifluous sound
Turned to screeching noise
Crystalline entity
Pirouetted to a crepuscular subsistence
This is all I have

I Am, the Winner

The cogitation about the word "Victor",
Arises vigor within my heart;
That keeps me vigorous towards my vision.
Virtuosity is my investment to reach beyond victory:
Because, I am, the winner!

The rumination about the word "vanquisher",
Awakens ardor within my heart;
That makes me active towards my aims.
Assiduous is my assurance to achieve awards:
Because, I am, the winner!

As If I Were Broken

Have you ever wondered what I was thinking?
When I look at you, my mind spirals.
I see you yawn and wonder,
Does your mind sound like mine?
The voices talking over each other.
Interrupting each other,
Never finishing one thought
Before beginning another.
Eventually, one rises above the rest.
I asked you if you had heard the noise and
You looked at me as if I were broken.

Ill Appetite

Ardency is the drive of life,
Beings journey in it vehicle.
For the rumination of thoughts,
The hunger race is infinite.

Ideas conceived are perceived,
Concepts are boundless,
Notions are yet born,
That man's itch is immeasurable.

Insatiablilty pervades the air,
Taste rises,
Hunger inflicts - and,
Cravings to be served is intense.

Man shouldn't be by bread alone.
Today thinks not,
For all seek to yield - to,
Their endless tort yens.

Rumination

Rumination
Let your heart take around
Of the deep within you;
Let it dive into the memories
Fond and dry, deep and blue;
Let it search the unknown
You buried for the known;
It's the time to retrospect
And cry out your voice loud,
Because it's you who matters
Not because a lot you chatter
But to take the responsibility
And be the change,
For you could nurture your soul
And heal the earth whole;
For you, hers is the only home.

Love Torn

For those unfulfilled...

Faint light's illumination.
On my mind, a rumination.

I want you still.
Don't you feel
the same?

I've seen a perfect world
between this boy and girl

where there aren't tears
and hearts don't fear
the pain.

Yet in reality,
set in formality

the lines are read
"I'm fine," you said,
by phone.

just know one little thing:
a lonely soul may sometimes bring

heartache enough for two,
yet awake I"ll call to you,
alone.

Rumination

i can say
they are unwelcome
yet secretly
i invite them in
ask them to stay
tell me a story
as if it is not the story of me
the meaning of me

teach me something
new or old
false unreal at best ephemeral
a truth a lie no matter
it dies in the light of reason
returns in the flow of time

leaves me now
returning to that shadow self
the truer self
the wild violent self
they will find me when i need them
the lie that dwells within
is never far away

Repetitive thoughts drive Ratifies depression Rationalism leaves Randomly they pop up Return constantly~haunt Rented a room in brain Rage incessantly-trapped
A person who is depressed can't help this something hijacks part of the brain and makes it hang up in this negative state. Something is needed to throw a wedge in there to stop the constant repetitiveness. Meds can help, counseling, change of habits, good nutrition, etc.

Rumination

Pain !, what a depressing situation !
Gain !, is what one derives, with creation.

If life’s story were only written by the hand
of us alone, we would surely be a different man !

Oh !, how great our lives would be
if we, but could or would see

that the resonance of hate
is the sound that will destroy.

The sonifications of love can deploy
waves that can, harmony create !

This I must state,
“ we can not leave it up to fate ! ”

Sibylline Power

We're all an energetic force
maintaining it is the source

We're not made to be weary
reach down wow that's synergy

Our thoughts can wear us down
turn this rumination around

Let that light flow through
our body and mind in view

Tepid temperature is the ticket
as the water flows through a spigot

So wrap your heart around spirituality
and let its flood shape to bilaterally

This is my ethereal prophetic nature
do these things and ride on this portraiture

Premium Member The Empty Days

To drink from the chalice of loneliness
filled with my passion's pain
taken from the crooked hand of age
clenched by the years of love's soul
its wormwood draught is less bile that stains
to let spill and wash the earthen floor of time
where my heart now lives
in its dim-lit realm of shades
where shadows cloak the darkness
and tomorrows fade away
I'll gouge out the grieving globes
that is my eyes...so I may only hear
my rambling rumblings of rumination
of why you died
