Repetitive thoughts drive Ratifies depression Rationalism leaves Randomly they pop up Return constantly~haunt Rented a room in brain Rage incessantly-trapped
A person who is depressed can't help this something hijacks part of the brain and makes it hang up in this negative state. Something is needed to throw a wedge in there to stop the constant repetitiveness. Meds can help, counseling, change of habits, good nutrition, etc.

Yes, life is not easy, Paula, but no one ever said it would be easy. Thanks for the visit and the kind review of my work. Sara

After three years of waking up sad everyday. I finally had a talk with God. Just like I was looking Him in the face. with all sencerity. And slowly, it went away.

TS, I am glad that you were able to handle it through prayer and time alone with God. That does help sometimes in certain circumstances especially if it is a situation where one has a spiritual situation going on in their life that needs to be addressed. Sometimes it is other problems in life or even an illness. I had post-partem depression for a short while which is caused by so many changes in hormones plus changes in life's responsibilities plus other feelings that go with being a mom and wife and it took some meds to get me over the hump and out of my slump. Thanks for the visit and your added view on depression. Sara

A powerful pleiades, so well written and i think anyone that has experience with this can resonate especially with “ rented a room in brain” and “ rage incessantly trapped” so well written on this theme and delivered.

Yes in severe anxiety cases i have seen this happening, and theres still a lot of stigma around medication and mental health illnesses however medication is the cure just like every other physical illness, which many need to understand. Mental health is important as a Psychologist i hear you, and feel you

Thank you, Empress. I think it probably should be used as way to help family members and teachers to maybe know if a child or teen or young adult is suffering from depression. Our grandson who has Huntington's Disease has suffered from depression and still does but is now on medication which helps with it (some) and he used to tell me about things going over and over in his head, but I did not know that was a symptom of depression because we all have that from time to time but at a lesser degree. Thanks for the visit to my page and nice review of my work. Sara
