Premium Member The Moon Is Orange
The moon is orange with the roundness of Halloween.
The witch sits close by and is truthfully easily seen.
They are conferring, plotting, planning something mean.
It is the moon’s first chance to be evil. His name is Dean....

Ode For a Deflated Wife
Gather her up with rubber gloves and Lysol. Toss her gently on a bed of roses. Yank her light switch, immerse blues in soft sell. Whisper of wealth yet to come, encourage with chocolates, agree to die first; love her back to roundness.

When I Plucked Out My Brain, I Saw
When I plucked out my brain, I saw
it had roundness and grooves.
So it was a wheel and fire.
It was also made to aspire.
There were literature and awe
when it would move
like an unlit seed in winter.
I would come to despise its birth.
It lacks a maid, a lover, and call nurse....

Ode To a Deflated Wife
Gather her up with velvet mitts.
Dab with cotton wipes.
Toss her gently on a bed of roses.
Yank her light switch until she glows.
Purge blues with muted pastels.
Whisper of wealth yet to come,
encourage with chocolates and wine.
Agree to die first;
love her back to roundness....

Somewhere Between
The moon was full and fat
fuzzy around its roundness
As if too bloated
To hold a clear definition

For its size
It should have been brighter
It was somewhere between
An off-cream and a bad dream

Later we discovered
That the glasses of milk
We had set upon the table
Had curdled...

The agency of touch
fell before you.
You receive it like warm lush rain
sinking ever forward
into your next terrain.

I am the blue bull.
the one who makes decisions.
I'm the careful surgeon.
The one whoe makes incisions.

Square my light into roundness.
Immerse all life into oneness....

Premium Member Crushed
I feel your coolness next to my fingers.

Your roundness excites my thirst buds.

Oh my you need to be crushed.

Your sweetness will exude your love.

You were crushed for me.

Now I can enjoy a chilled glass of wine.

You gave your all just for me.

My thanks to the grapes.

Temptation
if when I walk
on concrete sidewalks

stop at the bakery window
full with pastry

covered in chocolate
and creams

I notice
in the reflection

a new roundness
to my frame

and I begin
to worry

about You
the new medication

this heaviness
in my chest

just keep walking
your parents are diabetic

I Come and Go
hell comes and goes

that old
high sprung
jack-in-the box
grin on a spring

jumps out

pop goes my holy holisticness

i fall sick of myself
my all-a-roundness leaks

stuff looms

it happens

then i pray and cuss
cuss and pray

chase down the devil
pin him down
rip off his clown face

tell him
ever
so
gently

to stop being me

To a Ring
In you I trust. You symbolize a promise.
If self-reliance fails and footholds crumble
You’ll keep us safe from harm. You will protect us
If handholds break, if we lose grip, or stumble.

With you in reach I dare release the tension.
Your solid metal roundness will inspire
New confidence and faith. I can exhale now
The bated breath and, with relief, climb higher....

Your Love
YOUR LOVE.

Your love was not a love
But just an entrapment
Which under urges for
Multiplication of humanity
You involuntary scribed to
Set up for elopements in
Some mundane lores of sanity.

Like a flying nocturne insect
Caught in flowery sickness
On your facial prettiness
The curse of sensuality
Form roundness of your limbs
The daily game of extractions
To enrich your mortal bones
Ease of mind but crude of tones....

No Scars
The clear sound of a Marlboro igniting
the firm roundness
fully lipped
on that first drag
laconically hung off,
like you care? Lip tears don’t leave scars.

It’s been unsettling
That ashtray smell
On your fingertips
Burnt soil,
Rubbed off at best,
But coughing into a mason jar?

That comes later, after you’ve time to think
Gotten it all together;
gotta go anyway,
Like you care,
lip tears don’t leave scars....

The Rocks At Edale
Because the stones
are wind submissive, water pliant;
turned on wheels of air,
they remind me of village girls
broad buttocks, love handles,
rolling hips. Not like the bony walkers
that climb up here.

Their nakedness is fashioned
by a grinding tenderness.
I sample that roundness,
let my warmth kiss the curves.
Sit next to a pretty one,
eat a ham sandwich,
think fondly of the plump barmaid
in the valley below....

Long Time Gone
She sings along with that song
Taking the long way
She gets that
The violin melody of a hard fought harmony
She'll find a place to belong
But eventually her roundness
Her loudness
Finds her falling out of space
And she never fits in the square pegs
She begs
Borrows, but never steals
She believes in the commandments
He isn't here anymore
Killed millenniums ago
But love lives forever
Eternally
A long hello
And she finds forgiveness
Never says goodbye...

BESTOWED MOMENT

In the quiet
Are you listening?
In an awful, lonely hush
There is this mantra
An almost imperceptible hummmmmmmmm
Easing one out of focus
But not out of self
I sense it in the shoulders – this roundness
(this sur-roundness)
I sense this presence
Eternal
Beyond the planets, stars, galaxies
One may rationalize, call it, simply, flow of blood -
The familiar coursing life force
Yes, that too
But no!
There is this unutterable sense of beyond
A bestowed moment...

Dog In a Turning Pond
Paws paddlewheel a roundness.
Mouth wide in the sluice, a sodden rudder
pushes sideways braiding a foaming wake.
Pond and dog orbit an ocular sky,
watery eyes memo the turning scene:
a bobbing hat floats beneath clouds,
a heron fishing over its stooping shadow,
a nodding woman upon a snorting horse,
a stroller, a mother,
an old man shaped like a walking stick.
The delirious dog bites a wave and sneezes,
while to-and-fro, a bobbing ball seductively,
turns his world....

define what be truth
without an expiration date

with respect a consumer society

where-in time is change
even as constant

t's a contradictory reality

of negating
the negations called limits

of some defined actuality

with regards a relativity
called a perspective

mind formulating

irrational transcendental
constants of imagination

even such as halloween pumpkins

transcendence as roundness
to flatten in one dimension

as pumpkin 'pi'

Premium Member My Favorite Dish
My favorite dish, when it’s all done and said
Is the metal one inside my head

The dish that heats up near microwaves
And makes airport security whisk me away

The dish that put roundness back in my skull
When before it looked like a concaved bowl

The dish I cover with my toupee
Because to insert it they took my hair away

The dish that nobody else knew about
Until this poem from me came out

Without that dish I would not be here
So for my favorite dish, I give three cheers...
