Bestowed Moment

BESTOWED MOMENT

In the quiet
Are you listening?
In an awful, lonely hush
There is this mantra
An almost imperceptible hummmmmmmmm
Easing one out of focus
But not out of self
I sense it in the shoulders – this roundness
(this sur-roundness)
I sense this presence
Eternal
Beyond the planets, stars, galaxies
One may rationalize, call it, simply, flow of blood -
The familiar coursing life force
Yes, that too
But no!
There is this unutterable sense of beyond
A bestowed moment

This makes me think I should get back into meditation, Daver! I had always loved those "bestowed moment"s.:) An amazing write, you've surely given the reader an insight into this "beyond'! Keep well, Love, Mikki

wow, deep and kind of soothing!!! Good to have one of these kinds of moments, my friend, after what you told me about the decline of your senses! You hang in there because you are a grand old tom!!
