Springtime forgotten
Clouds release winter memories
While gale force winds
Uproot sunshine desires
Like shallow rooted trees
Aged,gnarled rooted in him
Fallen, but not cast off are you
As wild boughs engrafted thereto
Fallen, but not cast off are you
Aspens reaching skeletal fingers skyward
Grow the ancient boreal midnight mountain
reaching rooted primacy given taken
glorious prayer
Both fear and desire are rooted in attachment ~
Save in void of cessation, there’s no contentment

Re-Birth
Slow flowers explode sudden flushes
Waking days already warming rooted wintered bulbs
Hibernated yawnings burst from trees
Simhaladvipa
Lamka Sri island so deep
the Seren and dip
the green mountain and,
deep-rooted, Adam and Eve
bright red ruby sparks
With our soul’s valleys
watered with God’s wet spirit,
and his healing love,
be as trees of divine sap
sagely rooted in his work:-
Tendrils,
Twisted, reaching,
Sun-warmed leaves, fruit hangs ripe,
Man's patient and yielding journey,
Vineyard.

You walk around wearing second hand crowns
Thinking second hand thoughts
Battles second hand fought
Testaments rooted in foundational rot
trunk rooted essence
sprouting greenness and flowers
actor changing mask

It’s not thirst I fear,
but the way the sun’s course sweeps
shadows, everything
flows downhill, and how I wait
rooted here without water.
gold blooms spill down the Franklin slopes,
a sudden sunrise rooted in the earth,
desert wind brushing color into motion.
My
kindness
is not
niceness
but I know that
I am the truth
because I belong
to an eternally
growing and
deeply
rooted
family tree.
these things.
themes.
sounds.
and simple symbols.
ruthless.
yet rooted.
interwoven and deeply rooted.
I'm inspired by these things.
O the irony
the pathos
ingenuity
of the mind:
a life force
to engage
restless
rooted,
a curious hinge
hyphened
subscript
of body and soul
With tender care
you planted a seed
and your concern is rooted deep;
Now my faith grows
with strength and speed,
eradicating
each variant weed.
Wet dry daffodils
Deeply rooted in water
Sunken by full drought

kneeling
not in defeat~
but to cradle the earth’s
whispered secrets between my palms
rooted
Rose-bush blooms, sky's canvas vast,
petals open, close, a sigh.
He, a silent, steady,
rooted presence, watching nigh.
Love, a quiet, lasting bloom.

Stay with those ghosts you know.
Do not ever dream or think to go.
Pray to that God deep rooted in your mind -
seek you there and find.
Dark.
Seed sleeps.
A flicker.
A crack.
A shoot.
Up to the head.
Out through the eyes.
Down through the feet.
Into soil.
Rooted.
How does it feel?
Rooted in muddy stagnant waters.
Suddenly up blooms the most pure lily.
Reminder to never judge harshly.

My My
and tsk tsk
for the task
selfishness
lives in me
growing in the lines
rooted deep
stretching far
beyond imagined
My My
and
Mine Mine.
a dandelion
defying the pesticides
mocks the suns brilliance
valiant warriors
salutations to the sun
rooted in the now
