Roast Chicken

My grandma in her garden
picking peas, beans and carrots
and digging up potatoes -
roast chicken for lunch.

Premium Member The Art of Preparing a Roast

The art of preparing a roast
Is different from that of a toast.
Don’t cook it too dry,
Nor crusty like pie,
More moist will most boast of the host.

Roast and Wait

If lies are told to save,
Will sin be judged at the grave?
Smile darling! The winsome homely,
You never change; your hair needs no tatting,
So in penury, your short smile you gave.

Roast a Ghost

Roast A Ghost

Trump always likes to brag and boast;
At dinner event he did become a ghost
Has no bright bean;
Creates such a scene,
And his very own affair he had to host.

Let’s have a wienerwurst roast said the guy in the red tee.
I thought it was a smart idea; franks always taste good to me.
those franks were delicious roasted over a fire with charcoal.
My bun was laced with pickle relish I ate it almost whole.

Premium Member made pot roast today

at four a.m. I was awake today
I made a pot roast right away
put in potatoes and carrots too
by eight a.m. it was a lovely stew

I ate it early and it was heaven
Husband says he wants to eat at eleven
by then there might not be any left
Hope he is not left starving and bereft

Premium Member tasty roast beef with vegetables

tasty roast beef cooked in crockpot for six hours
beside carrots and potatoes with vegetable powers
slathered with Heinz 57, the aroma is pure heaven
I devour many potatoes, at least six or seven
Full as a mosquito, I must have a long nap
This meal is so grand, it deserves a place on a map.

Favourite Smell

What is your favourite smell?

There's the smell of the sea,
The freshly mown lea.

The smell of fresh bread,
And a new laundered bed.

Summer rain is really good,
And the smell in a wood.

A cooking Sunday roast,
And thickly buttered toast.

Which is the smell that you like the most?

The Traditional Rump Roast

Place your rump roast in deep pan,
add cream of mushrooms, beef broth,
                                    potatoes, carrots;
                                     cook on medium
                                       for four hours
                                             done!

Title

When you adopt that title
you can boast, drink a toast, enjoy a roast.
When you lose that title
and face the coast,
you may feel the most
sadness.

You see the sea -
a sight that is the most -
and may have lost your title
but feel a luxurious roast
in your belly; that luxury is not
sadness.

Roast Dinner Sin

The smell is good
Just look at the pud
Gammon, Turkey and Beef
Life’s turned over a new leaf
A few balls of stuffing
They aint made of nuffing
Many calories they carry
It’s the sausages I want to marry
Grease torpedoes and crispy potatoes
We know where all that goes
Straight to the hips
For some taste bud kicks
Oh well
Diet go to hell.

My Wife she's in a mood

Morning delicious are your fruits
Ripeness and sweetness
Delicious are your fruits

Noon, the lunches of noon
Savory sandwiches, savory
condiments to.

Dinner might you find us
at a well dressed table
extravaganza of evening
One might favor

Dessert, my what wonders
do you bring, a sip of coffee
a compliment to everything.

Your slippers and paper honey!

The dark roast zepher stone

Initials hung on Taylor's neck, her own, TAS sectorially vented Harvard's gates, they have come to say and so today the impinged parlay, dark roast is now a zepher stone so subtle laughter that gathers like small children for backyard games, that, I can't have more, coffee for sure another time, but time's aplenty who's that, I'm proud to say the zepher stone is here to stay.

Alive, Alive Oh!

Listen to poem:
The best thing about waking up is not the coffee in our cup warming the cockles I'd impart from the bottom of our heart it's knowing we survived to see another day arrived no matter what may come our way as being late when we're done and gone is far too harsh to contemplate so smell the flavour savour the roast and of our time here on earth before we're toast let's not forget to make the most

Field Roast Vegan Chao Slices

I want to eat
cheesy down home goodness
I want to be mozzarella vegan great
to eat the best flavors right off
a non-dairy plate

but, honest finance
has told me so
I will never know
vegan in this price range

I could stretch out my dough
I could save up multitudes of pennies
but let's face it
I will just have to
let the dream go

seventy-seven dollars
for vegan cheese
I guess sadly
vegan isn't for me

Premium Member At Porky Pig's Roast

Horrible Hattie had seen her own ghost
While chomping away at Porky Pig's Roast --
   She turned wan and pale
Downed a mug of ale --
Her translucence scared Petunia the most

Hattie staggered to her feet, looked around
The room was whirling, at times upside down --
   As she started to speak
Her teeth rattled, 'Eek 'Eek' --
Porky's wife shrieked and ran straight out of town

Note: Petunia Pig is Porky's wife. lol.
