Some of that dinner I like. My mom used to make it in Sundays after church. It was so tender and yummy back in those days. I don't know why meat doesn't taste as good as it used to. It has to be the way they raise our animals over here . We always had mashed potatoes with the gravy. Do you do that? Congrats

Thank you very much Andrea, we sometimes have them mashed but roast a few as well, you're righ though meat isn't what it used to be, factory reared doesn't taste as good. Tom

You make mouth water Tom, but remember I'm 50 percent English and 50 percent Greek, so I am who I want to be as and when I want to be. My father was from Yorkshire so we also had yummy Yorkshire pudding with our roast dinner and loads of gravy made in the roasting pan where the meat had roasted with water from the peas. The tradition carries in in the Proxenos household as well, although I cook, when I am allowed to, Greek. ELias make a mean Kleftiko with tsatsiki and pita bread Greek roast potatoes and a wonderful Greek salad with olives and feta cheese. DID I HEAR YOU' ARE OFF TO YOUR FAV. GREEK ISLAND!!!!! Blessings, Jennifer.

Thank you very much Jennifer, you've certainly got the best of both worlds, I love musakaa and beef stifaldo. I love olives and feta cheese too, I'm easy to please. Nothing planned for this year but in the last couple of years we've been to Rhodes, Kos and Crete. Hope you and your family are keeping well. Tom
