Grey Hair
GREY HAIR
It use to
be
the masses
last resort
when the grey hair
was wholesome wisdom
and law
no respecter
of being
but no more

                   A strand
                   of grey hair
                   now gold carat
                   so justice
                   is thrown
                   into the
                   embrace of mint...

Death
Death
Who is no respecter of persons
Beloved, haters
Gather around
Secluded murmurs and vents
Bloodshot corneas
Shudders, silence
Some to merry only
Black, oblivion
Disbelief, later epiphany
Resounding salutations
Indeed! Some only to make merry - come
Its desire: unquenchable
Like the Queen, never late
Departing she returns
Again without announcement....

Covid-19
Toast to the gods
For even glorified men
Are nothing like gods
At the feet of COVID-19

A respecter of none,
The demon slithers
Down the trench
Where man's essence dwells

Corona, the reward of good
In Roman tales
But in ours,
Penance for iniquities

Drink up, me hearties
Corona is fast approaching
For that which you can't fathom
Destruction is nought but a dream...

No Respecter of Persons
No respecter of persons, I’m not referring to me,
Look in Acts 10:34 and you will see.
God’s promises applied equally to everyone,
For a deep personal relationship through his dear son.

No respecter of persons color, creed or race,
He’s able to see you through the problems you face.
Call on him in earnest; trust his word is true,
What he has done for others he can do for you....

Premium Member Time's Onslaught
The hands of time can't be reversed
For hourglass' sand must flow each day.
When life isn't found as intellect rehearsed
The sand doesn't slow nor does it stay.

As a respecter of persons time is not deft
So relish each moment as you travel.
Seeking the max from time you've left
For comes a day when life will unravel.

I sit forlorn delving on things withheld
Excavating resentment from a shallow grave.
Toward one whose thoughts could not meld
But death will someday end that crave....
