No Proof
After 2 years of recrimination and denunciation, where are the remains of the children buried at the Kamloops Indian Residential School?

Time Is Today
TIME
always lives in the present
it has no yesterday or tomorrow
TODAY is its residential area

lets go to seize the today
and utilize without any delay

Croydon Yesteryear
You've aged well with Conviction
Guarding your yesteryears
of residential Presbyterian Thornton Heath in 58
and Kennards in the town centre
Bygone Croydon days
with Grants and Allders, crown jewels
and Beatles at the festive Fairfield Halls 63
and Young Conservatives 64 in Purley...

I am a brick house

I'm a brick house
Could be a shapely woman or a house
Leveled in courses stacked one on top of each other
A dwelling consisting of mortar, wood, and rock
A residential dwelling space
Made to inhabit man and his family
I am a brick house

My neighbor Mike loves karaoke
Who sings off-tune a Hokey Pokey;

          Grinds he with delight
          But it's twelve of night...

Irked, my alarm whips that voice croaky.

Urban Warfare
Urban Warfare

Knock Knock, tick tocks the clock,
post traumatic syndrome head trauma shock.
Glock Glock, click pop weapon stock,
three dimensional residential sniper kill shot on lock.

Hippity Hop, bee bop the music stops,
scattered brats panic attack, raiding cops.
Ding Dong, ping pong ball bounce bops,
sad sadistic, unrealistic, urban firearm goes pop, pop, pop!...

Residential Paradise
Spacious comfortable country residence
extended and upgraded, sleeps eight.
On the fringe of a conservation village
elevated distant views, sheltered
solar heating, well insulated.

Sympathetically tucked into a south facing hillside,
extensive well-manicured terraced gardens.
All amenities, motorway and railway within 5 miles.
Paradise on four levels, décor understated
a dusty sand hole, ant excavated…...

Residential Celebration
RESIDENTIAL CELEBRATION

Although silver and gold have gone
Never did I expect to get to sixty
Nor survive with you by my side
I am nonetheless always so grateful
Very opposed to what is superficial
Every thought is now of platinum
Remembering that so few do make it
Sometimes just the one, not both
Albeit still in body, if not in mind
Recent memories just out of reach
Yet still we both wear wedding rings...

87 residential buildings destroyed in Kharkiv last night
5,000+ displaced renters in the most dire of plights

Yet Putin and Russia they so intensely despise
Uncommon determination resounds in their cries

____________________________________________
My wife's former apartment building was one of the 87.
We watched it get bombed and utterly destroyed last
night. Can you imagine the hell that's playing out in
Kharkiv now?!...

Partial and Racial
The points I heard them marshal
Made them Plainly Partial
And The Decidedly Racial …

Quarters intended ‘Residential’
Treated like Files Confidential;
The structures for The Influential,
Mode of rent non-sequential …

Lessors’ hearts Loveless Chambers,
Their fiery eyes Indignant Embers,
The Disfavored taking for Tennis Balls,
Their lips for undisguised name calls …

Not unlike The Spatial
To breed The Racial or Partial
To The Abyss sending The Spirit Social....

Res
I arrived at a residential facility today,
The people are nice but the thoughts scream profanities
my overalls get looser as the day goes on,
and I feel like I'm shrinking, but maybe that's a good thing
my mind is a sullen cloud,
heavy with the weight on my shoulders
I sit in a chair unable to think, they may think I'm disgusting too
the echoes exacerbate the evil spirit that eggs on my eagerness to escape
never have I felt so welcomed, yet so alone
I scream and suffer in silence....

Skyline
The New York City skyline
Once had visitors impressed,
But now it makes New Yorkers
Feel disgusted and depressed.

For jutting out obnoxiously,
A giant matchstick looms;
It’s a residential building
Filled with billionaire-type rooms.

It is ugly, it is boring
And it’s thrust into our faces
While destroying what was once
The special skyline it replaces.

We all know that its existence,
Though disastrous indeed,
Has been brought about by what
The world gets by on – mostly greed!...
