observing hesitancy
camouflaged with a smile
the onus shifts to us
to rekindle vibrancy of joy
with sparkle of innocence
Memories are stepping stones
As we journey through the dark.
Shedding light on our journey home
To rekindle with the past.
Gentle whispers shared
Burning embers rekindle
Flames reaching upward
Silhouettes moving slowly
Dormant pleasures awakened
Her childhood memories disperse, linger, reflect and rekindle in all areas, destinations,
endeavors, and journeys of her life.
Form:
the this here now is all there is
and time is but an illusion
let’s rekindle then, soul’s bliss fizz
exiting dreamy delusion
new star within ...prods me to rekindle heart's gift of compassion

New Year One Liner Contest of Silent One
Listen to poem:
Winter heart so cold
My fire extinct long ago
In ice, hail and fog
Small embers of love remain
Only you can rekindle
NEW YEAR

Sweet Lady Jane
ashes of passion
warm
the fearful heart,
dry
the tear drenched
raiment,
rekindle
the desires
..for life...
once more
Wishing to get our lost joy back,
we employed every known mind hack,
to rekindle the flame of bliss,
that was birthed by our lover’s kiss
but shadows lacked scent of lilac.
youth's lust is a fire that can't be sustained
time and growth are the fuel
to best rekindle love
layer of dust
choking breath
fears and desires
veiling luminescence
purification then the way
gentling every touch
to rekindle heart’s
love and light

Just Using The Word
Makes The Magic
Dissipate Into
Artificiality Of
One Kind Or Another.
Rekindle.
No Thanks.
It Doesn't Light
Like THAT.

A heart is still;
no pulse,
just a glimmer
of passion
which quivers,
longing for a spark
to rekindle the heart
so it may beat
in rhythm
once again.

Search me, O Lord,
Shine your light
Deep inside my soul.
Rekindle the embers
Of the Holy Ghost fire.
Blow gently on my spirit,
And make me complete and whole.
each time we meet a soul
we are offered a chance
to rekindle innocence
and joyously dance
do we plunge in
or wait at sidelines
feel the tremulous heart
how for touch of love it pines
rivers drying water scarce
resonant springs flow less silent space
rancor sprouts mindless murders chase
remembrance crying thoughtless tussles
return release rekindle rejuvinate reincarnate
Form:
Sitting on the fence I get entangled
in the barbed wire,
I lie on the heap of ashes
of my cherished dreams
wondering when a stray spark might
rekindle the flames of my dormant desires.
Ready to embrace change
Relinquish the old self
Remember to be firm
Reach for the lofty goals
Resound the steps to take
Rewrite any strayed goal
Rekindle dim embers

let's rekindle our love
make up for the lost moments
that were too jealous
and i,too demanding
baby we can make it
look closely
and you'll see
the reasons why
you should stay
with this man
It's a lovely day for a walk in the park
Pretend we're starting over to rekindle the spark
It's hard to believe
The changing of the leaves
Winter's around the corner the sky's turning dark
Late at night
Starring into the half-light
Trying to recollect
What happens next
Trying to rekindle old flames
From my past
Dreamers dream
Or so it seems
They say nothing lasts
Forever lasts with me.
Lest there comes a time when our love doesn't hold.
After the tribulations of living are weighed and tolled,
Your love and mine, will rekindle as our bodies entwine keeping out the cold.
turbid thoughts leave us in the lurch
end then the search, on bliss beats perch
the past is dead, future unknown
‘tis here now where love seeds are sown
rekindle then, heart’s innocence
beholding soul’s luminescence
come with me feeling free on my red sled
maybe we can revisit life and free ourselves from this dead bed
perhaps we could rekindle a flame long since faded
by letting the magic of the snow free us from feeling selflessly gated
