Silent Words
It was regarded as a bit of a coup
To win a contest on Poetry soup
Like opening a bland box
To find a chocolate Gateaux
I will have to think my rhyme things through...

Secrets of a Garden
No living garden can be lonely or un-regarded, as long as one butterfly or bee gives it wings, or a song. Flowers will bloom bright, where sparrows lightly tread.

View of a Lady
A feast for the eyes
Or a lamb meant to slaughter,
Respected not with respect to
Mother, wife or daughter;
Regarded as criterion used
For measuring machismo,
Or a way to exhaust
A fleeting need for pleasure....

Genius
Generally regarded with a squeamish
Enigmatic perspective by those who are
Not one and those who are seldom
Insinuate this characteristic themselves
Unless called upon to demonstrate a new
Scintillating discovery shouting, "Eureka, I am a genius."...

Polite mannerisms
Often go unnoticed or ignored
Elephant trumpeters marching in the room
Talk of fiction and tall tales
Regarded as falsehoods or popular talk
Your voice and perspective counts a whole lot

Food Review
The aesthete bounds into the Bakery
He tasted all of the bread
To the village, the crumb tastes perfectly
Yet the contrarian said
I've tasted crust, and your bread is too sweet
I'll eat somewhere else instead
And the Baker saluted the foodie
Yet regarded the critic as phooey...

Society
From one to a mob a person becomes people
An idea becomes action
Results occur
Blame only sticks to individuals
Responsibility dissipates
Pride fuels greed
Exploitation is honorable
Benevolence is a weakness
Restitution is regarded as unearned reward
Oppression does not mature...

Trifle
Slowly variance regarded gallant to test the militant.Gusts of despair flood the hosts when gates released more than ghosts. Endless bottomless we ascend and descend.More heart to take part for acts of careless facts. Make sure your plate is full of trifle.

Right I Was
"You are lost!" they mocked me........

I believed that everyone
has his or her own sense of style in living,
but they regarded me as a clown.

I did not follow fashion, religion or what
my fears about people's thoughts told me;
asylum was thought to be a perfect abode
for me; drugs were suspected to be my close company.......

"You were right!" they tell me NOW!...

Tribute To Devoted Dads
Like very few dads on earth
Sparing precious a life to grant a new birth
Driven by unlimited love and a tremendous mirth
Glory of heart and soul is your aspiration
Never cease to be an icon and a fount of inspiration
Every single desire and whim are met with compassion
Never regarded a sacrifice but a sweet devotion
You are worth all the love, respect and recognition....

Speck
Speck of
existence.
Beyond
insignificant.
Floating.
Floating in
infinity.
Infinity
within
infinities.
Unseeable,
unknowable.
Specks

a speck are
we.
Regarded
not by the
void.
Destine to
blink
out of
existence.
But,
perhaps,
just perhaps
enters
Artificial Intelligence
Techno Sapien,
then
like the
mustard seed
exploding
to fill
the void!...

Oh, Nous,*

You, divine faculty of perception

Mother of conception

Source of understanding

Gate of Wisdom

Without your presence deaf and blind I would be

Perpetually. oblivious to truth eternal!

In Search of the Mind
(This poem was published in Every Day Poets. Enjoy the read!!!!)

“You have lost your mind!”
they told him. His eccentricities
surpassed the boundaries
they regarded as
normal.
Determined to get his mind back,
he searched forest, roadside,
bridge, cemetery….everywhere he remembered
visiting; wondering whether his mind existed or not,
because he had memories.

A Witch's Irony
Three witches
by one sword drawn
from heaven at the
inching of day
thrice regarded, naught
but once slain
for high treason by jury
though not of sound mind
idolatrous fancy its credo
and kind
but divine be certain mercy
oft a misnomer of fools
for whom heresy converts
in the shallowest pool
therefore say the witches let
fate run her course
when the fire avenges
let it be from our source...

Problem Child
Sullen and defensive
(what's it to you?)
quietly disappearing

what difference does it make?
[tiny] and inferior
beaten into believing the propaganda
from [un]reliable sources

Her heart knew [stuck in survival mode]
nothing but self loathing and
self preservation. To her (unknowing) credit.
Strength.

Regarded as a “loose canon”
by proxy and
so it went.

Scarred.
A miracle.
In God’s eyes....

Ants Eat Birds In the End
“Always remember that birds eat ant,
but in the end, ending up as ants’ menu list”,
she always told him.

Regarding the statement as a concoction of words,
he went on doing what he loved doing; consuming time
in a Gypsy tent, searching for the elixir of immortality.

In the end, he died of old age without a solution
to his aging, which he regarded  as a natural abnormality;
time finally consumed him....
