A Witch's Irony
Three witches
by one sword drawn
from heaven at the
inching of day
thrice regarded, naught
but once slain
for high treason by jury
though not of sound mind
idolatrous fancy its credo
and kind
but divine be certain mercy
oft a misnomer of fools
for whom heresy converts
in the shallowest pool
therefore say the witches let
fate run her course
when the fire avenges
let it be from our source
