You have to be immortal
to placate the gods
Time reaffirming
all memory of
Creation, destruction,
eternity looms

If I receive a forward
That’s political or, worse,
Pertaining to religion
My response is rather terse:
By sending me such messages
(In case you couldn’t tell),
You’re reaffirming that you do not

From banishing all nighttime fears
My inner goddess awakens

acquaintances...giving extra
time for deeper more meaningful
relationship with a carefully
chosen few
reaffirming to my mind
that only Love
needs no compromising....

H-e expects humility from you,

The stars were twinkling
as the moon danced
sending beaming rays
to float over the earth.
Casting shadows over all
in the still of the night.
We lay entwined
fingers wandering southwards.
Our breath hot and passionate
as we danced the age old dance.
Reaffirming our love as
slowly we rose to climax.
By the river reflecting
the majesty of the sky.
Adding poignancy
to our deep abiding love
Beyond every question…
God is the answer
filling in the gaps of our imperfection
offering hope in the face of despair
light to shine through the darkness
and promise
when abandonment is all we feel
lifting the burden that covers our greatness
reaffirming our choices
strengthening our wills on the forge of His power
unblocking the final entryway
