Where job creativity's hated
We will weep and feel castrated
But after quitting
It's real and so fitting
Without bawls anymore we're elated

Miracle Man

We become failures
only when quitting a task
that God has given
Retirement isn't just about sitting,
That makes it look like I am quitting.
The work I do now is by my design,
I'm not watching the clock, a slave to time.
A banker decides to give it a shot
After quitting his job on the spot
He brought a nice farm
That sound an alarm
When animals start to swarm
Trying to woo him with charm
I will not be quitting you
I’m not ready to be quitting you;
I still need your love.
You may be ready, but I will never be,
Ready to give up.

TEASING
Life is purely a teasing game
Are you quitting the calling name
We can shift all of our blame
Let's talk about the difference of the same

The sweat of sweet effort
And not quitting nor running
Because no road is short
To the goal of winning
Giving up is not a option
And success through work
To reach your dreams there can be no caution

Trump Big Baby Born a Papoose
We gave up Trump saying what is the use;
Trump acts like big baby born a papoose,
Out words spitting,
And never quitting;
While in public pacifier he will produce.

my co-workers were snippy, snotty, persnickety, uptight and mean.
I had been discounting this for some time, but could not ignore any longer.
quitting my job was the right thing for me; I did not belong with mean girls.
It's a gun metal morning
nail-head rain hammers
a quitting earth.
The sky
is a technical knockout.
Making a third cup
of black coffee,
I elbow a dullness aside,
try a few butterfly steps
get ready
for the daily fight.
I've been smoke free two months today.
I haven't smoked and I hope that's how things will stay.
Please don't start smoking, it wasn't a good thing for me to do.
Please say no to nicotine because that is what is best for you.
Smoke filled lungs
Cloud the oxygen trying to get in
Fat veins, dark hearts and burnt lungs
Straining to take a breath
Whilst you’re gripping at your chest
It’s an aggravation, and annoyance
Quitting is always harder than it seems.

quitting at painted perfectly.com,and thinking of quitting here.whats the deal with
internet poetry?wheres the fun?too many old women run the places, where doa
brotha go?show me some contempt room.for if you say words are bad in
poems, god knows you as a liar.
I have nothing to lose, by submitting.
My poems aren't perfect, I'm admitting.
A crime of bad rhymes, I'm committing.
A disease of word misuse, I'm transmitting.
I try to be hard-hitting, but my diction is unfitting.
There are times I feel like quitting,
Then a gem is born, after some diligent editing.
This life is my life
Why is this my life
So I shout YOLO
Maybe I'll try van life
Cause escapism
And romanticizing
Are all that's really driving me
And maybe one day
I'll really do it
I'll quit my job and
I'll get right to it
Because they told me
That time is money
So right now I'm rich as I can be
Have you ever wondered about giving up?
Throwing in the towel and just walking away.
What keeps you from just quitting?
Each new day brings a new struggle.
A new fight to be won.
Do you ever feel like you are losing the battle?
How can you win?
When the war is with yourself.
And you're fighting the battle alone.
A spot of rain
The flowers bloom
Masking the blocked drain
I retreat to my mind's inner room
I consider the children's clutter
The warm inner sanctum of home
My heart with thanks is a flutter
No need for my mind to roam
A man must give thanks
For leaving the single life
Quitting the single ranks
Having gotten a wife
Teachers quitting at record rates
Why face daily violence and hate
Public schools face colossal debt
Yet teachers' pensions fatter get
Unions clamor for more and more
Though few are left to mind the store
Education as the province of a privileged few
~ may again be the prospect we look forward to
I told myself I couldn't do it any more so I quit
I shut my mind out to all my friends I quit
I experienced something that made me think it was the
end of the world for me, I said I might as well quit
I sit on my bed shook my head came to myself
started to smile and said all this quitting is the beginning
of a fresh start.
No shame in admitting
I love to read your comments
And should I think of quitting
I LOL at whatever Lawless sent…
‘Course, I’d sure like to get more of them
Your thoughts brighten up my day
Yet 8,340 poems posted, not one of them a gem
~ They all come out from the same old leaky pen
About Trump We Must Be Admitting
About Trump what we must be admitting;
If his childish behavior he is not quitting;
Big bother be;
No tranquility;
Will need much more aid and babysitting.

MSNBC and ABC seem to match my way
of thinking. They represent a combined
75% of our total population. So guess I
must fit there somewhere.
While mowing my fields, brief thought came to light;
I grasped that the wind was quitting the fight.
Noting the clouds gave attention with fear...
to move indoors was absolutely clear.
The still before the storm, just enough time
for safety, an epiphany sublime.
When the warning turns to watch, best take care;
radar maps are a forecaster's nightmare.
Letting you all know that starting today.
I am now quitting from my addiction.
This pen made me a bad person.
Too bad, I had issued a memorandum.
surfing on other site while at work.
So now, I need to rest for a while.
Can no longer create new poems with these hands.
Pour this ink on my pen in trash.
Right time will come....
I'll be free to live my life with no tasks!
Filthy, grimy, yellowed
Strange buttons
Not
The stuff of legends
Nor epic tales
Why did we come
With these so-called toes?
Perhaps to remind us
That the meek and seemingly
Irrelevant
Parts of us
Lead silently
Fragrantly
Proudly
Worthy of our love
If not
Our recognition
Filthy toes
Never quitting
Dainty entities
Loving us
Granting peace
Please kiss them
If possible
(I dedicate this to my battle of quitting nicotine)
Before I was anxiety with rage
Consumed by consumables
I finally forced consumables to retreat
I didn’t do it alone I had my angels
I can finally see the world with clarity
It isn’t so bad when your mind can breath
The irony with chemicals is toll one pays
First skipping a toll only later feel death
