The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Devour the Spirit

Devour the spirit and souls
of the poor, fatherless children
with no clean water nor food
to fill the bloated bellies.
Families unlearned, desolate
spiritually beaten. Unable to provide for
their young. Villages living in sorrow of their
dead babies, dead husbands and raped bodies
and spirits.
Who will help their misery?

beautiful. and painful. its breath taking. id love to visualize it. because as horrid as it is its beautiful in its own desolate way. perhaps you could 'draw' me a picture with your words of one village. life there. or perhaps right after a war or battle of some kind. many of them still go through raids. this is very passionate. xoxo --raiin

Sound like a terrible place to live. Sometimes even though we have these spiritually beaten villages we have to realize that help comes from the depth of the person inside. Effort not only comes from the outside but must come from within. So much needs to be done. God Bless Phyl

Very passionately done. You approached a topic that needed to be told. Keep writing. Mom P.S. My poem(writing) was my way of saying I wiil be gone awhile but everyone Have A Nice Day. It is French for the title.
