God Will Provide

Lord, I don’t ask for riches,
for silver or for gold.
For nothing in this world will last,
it will decay and grow old.

I ask only for my needs, Lord
that you have promised to supply.
I know you will provide for me.
On you, I can always rely.

Your promises are forever sure,
You will never, never forsake.
I will trust in you completely.
You know the path I take.

A lovely prayer of trust, Betty! Our sermon in church this morning was on letting go of worry and trusting God to meet our needs. Your poem goes along with that. God Bless!
