Premium Member Dandelion Propagation
I’m just a silly little dandelion,
and should you pluck me up, it’s all the same.
The wind shall blow; my offspring shall be flyin’
To carry on the Dandelion name.

Ode To a Flower
From her fertile white pedals
Rose sways her hips
Ten feet tall
Her flowers fall
On peat and sand
Taking root in my willing hand

With reconditioned tears
The higher stock is made
And with onions in my eye sockets
I'm eternally afraid
That as each layer is peeled
A new tear is unlaid...

who were peppered with lead,
souls lacking a heart, offer
a thought and a prayer
over and over again,
like a poetic refrain.

Why do people at the top
don’t do a thing to stop
the propagation of guns
that deprive our young sons,
as well as our daughters
of their youthful laughter?

My thought and my prayer is,
God will end all of this
and ev’ry other evil,
delighting the devil.
Then all violence will cease,
and man will dwell in peace....
