Dandelion Propagation

I’m just a silly little dandelion,
and should you pluck me up, it’s all the same.
The wind shall blow; my offspring shall be flyin’
To carry on the Dandelion name.

Apart from their beautiful golden yellow, they are a darned pest. I love your take on them Andrea. If I get any more in the garden, I know who's to blame. * Soup Mail 4 u * :)

haha this reminds me of our teen years, We kids used to spend the day picking dandelions for the neighbors who used to make some mighty fine wine with them. When everybody got together for the wine tasting ...it wasn't the dandelions who were silly... ( +/\#) cool poem

You sure made me smile with this one -- could imagine those dandelions seeds (ok do you call them seeds?) flying away in the breeze-- really like your last line how you say they "carry the dandelion name" :)-- hugs to you :)

Oh yes, you can pluck them, but the dandelions always return. Nice work, Andrea. Good luck in Brian's contest.
