Looking too far ahead tends to do my head in.
Two steps forward and one step back seems like progress to me.

Is it not best to adjust goals upwards,
Than to scale them down?

Beautiful maples and spruce,
The maple leaves the colours of autumn,
God's favorite paintbrush had guested,
Houses and apartments,
Each very unique,
Like companions simply there,
Blessing another,
Roads created as safe passages,
Cars in regular traffic patterns,
God's citizens progress to workplaces,
Plazas and churches,
God guests on Sunday,
The sunlight of religion,
Always there, always with us.
