Wimpy Lover

The spear passed through my heart
His words like a dart
Blood oozed
Pain profuse
My hand limp
I let go off the wimp

Michelle and Morris In a Nutshell

Michelle introduced us to Morris
Most prolific thesaurus tortoise
Her wording profuse
Just like Dr. Seuss
She most certainly didn't bore us

Embers

Winter whips through bones
Dispelling comfort and warmth
Yet for all its chill
My heart retains joy profuse
For our love survives untouched

Past the Eyes

Her eyes profuse tenderness,
immersed in a beautiful silence,
imagination withdraws her from human existence
and lub-dub is all she listens to, her essence.

Profuse With Blooms

My heart bled as the chainsaw ran
As the sap spilled forth from the roses onto the ground
I felt violated just as they
Soon they would have been profuse with blooms

Children Dew

Children are like July dew. Mature, linger and drip on you. Your flavors come from the profuse. components that you use. With kids, Dad must subdue.

Happened In America Only

Happened in America Only

Where it happened was in America only;
Trump's poor appearance  left us lonely;
His each excuse,
Poured profuse;
Been full of bull and a bunch of bologna.

Glory of Nature

Rose
fragrance
sweetens air
birds chorusing
sun lit dappled glade
gold edged clouds overhead

Profuse floribundas

Fever

desert blooms at noon
days of drought in the deep south
when love first ignites

a summer heat wave
quickly melting ice cream cones
wild activity

the long torrid nights
a profuse early blooming
sun's constant presence

I am disgust

I can churn stomachs, with a stench of truth
An abscess filled with maggots, pus profuse
As I feed off gunk, new nerve ends take root
Raw language in my words, not gross abuse
Yes! I am disgust, old wounds fear my fruit

The Piano

profuse cobwebs briskly brushed away
the piano rediscovered

tentatively touching ivory
ten fingers revive euphony

old memories begin to swell
Papa’s best-loved tune fills up the room

An oldie

Fake Gnus

'Tis noted that some media at times express divisive and jaundiced views!

Hence, such inane twaddle has reputedly become known as fake gnus!

(Written with considerable tongue in cheek and with profuse apologies
to the innocent African antelope known as a gnu!)

Chief Many Papoose

There was a great Chief named Many Papoose,

Who with many brave's squaws played fast 'n' loose!

When in battle the Chief died,

The Chief's tribe was well supplied,

With many papoose since he was profuse!

From Golden Realms

Bled from the golden realms of passion my heart is etched in hues
dipped in the fountain of everlasting wishes I am your faithful muse
living in the center of your amorous procreation
burning like fire inside your soul, a sweet elation
infuses my heart and leads it by the rhythm of my soul's profuse

Cancer Ravaging

rampant and deadly
eating up the red blood cells,
leukaemia on course,
Fatigue,pain,profuse sweating,
uncontrollable symptoms.

It has many sibs
all with pure killer instincts,
one attacks prostate,
others the breast,skin and brain,
scientists in prolonged battle.

The Laundry Room

The Laundry Room

Aprons folded flat, tablecloths left lying on their back,
Black patent baby shoes piled in a stack
Against the tower of towels needed for a bath.
Dusty duvets rolled out of use
Toilet mats, underwear , socks all loose.
An ironing board, stands full of abuse
The sadness I feel is so profuse.

Mammals Who Munch

Mauricio, the merry moose
in Lanny Locke’s garden let loose.
He munched on mulberries,
chips, chestnuts and cherries.
The produce he poached was profuse!

His cousin, Carol the cute caribou
consumed cucumber, cabbage and cashews;
and Kory the cute koala
wandered down from Walla Walla
bringing broccoli, beans and barbecue!

Liberty Regret

Oh! Concealed was the sign
That brought this sigh...
The wicked you!

Heavy sighs...
Profuse tears...

What a negative liberty
A garden of thorns
You were such a teeth
That crushed me empty.

At the sat on lawns
Saw in me residue of filth
Stinking sting on my tongue.

I knew it...dead long
Like a stale song.

My premature liberty
An air of regret.

Bichon Frise

BICHON FRISE
Bichon frise or is it curly lapdog you prefer?
Pray, do make it known
Descendant of a water spaniel originating in ancient times
In the Mediterranean area
Used as barter by sailors
Your solid white coat is silky profuse
Not silky confuse
I get it now
You are prized for your lively intelligence
And is usually groomed and trimmed
To give a “powder puff” appearance.

Strive

The darkness falls inside
The lights are dim
The heart no longer has pride
Your hope is grim

The goals are few
The ideas are dust
The feelings must be anew
Your sacrifice is a must

The dreams are driven
The work is hard
The success is a given
Your faith is your guard

The sweat is profuse
The pain is tight
The failure is of no use
Your achievement is your might
