Cats
static,
unlikely.
They'd rather play
in the big fish tank.
It's the notion
of prey in
motion,
fish.
What lurks in the shadows?
Creepy predators waiting for their unsuspecting prey.
Best to lock our doors.
Wordku: 5-7-5 words
Hide and seek, they constantly play
life and death; involved in the game
the target is caught; the fame ends.
A hot land that came upon him tired and weak
The Elephants sworn enemy
Yet he carried it’s predator
keeping it from harm over hot land
Is ambition the predator
Is greed…
Indeed…
Lest they become the prey
~ or the prayed upon
If you don't pray,
You will become prey
And may be devoured.
But when you're a prayer,
You can resist the preyer
When you're empowered.
J-aguar is hungry,
A-ttacking the crocodile,
Y-es, he has killed him.

You are the hunter
I am the prey
Will I let you
Catch me today?
You say you love me
So you say
Maybe I am the hunter
And you are the prey
Power hungry and thirsty
As the wolves lay
In way for their prey
But to their surprise
The prey went another way
And lived to see another day
surveying the greens
sneaking and striking it's prey
a snake in the grass

searching yellow eyes
fast, agile, hunts by surprise ~
elite sparrowhawk
this bird hunter waits
it pounces, pigeon's death knell ~
nature is brutal
My cat Mimi, cunning and so wise,
Will wait quiet, then bounce by surprise
Make a rat its prey
Hold it in its sway
With it to play in triumphant guise.
Excited happy coyote yips! Howling.
Yips come faster now.
They have something cornered.
Rabbit? Turkey? Chicken? Cat?
A yipping frenzy.
Dinner begins shrieking
In this life,
some people appreciate
to hunt...
There are others
who feel satisfied
of being the prey...
I already realize the two of them,
and don't approve any... !
The hunter found deer tracks that were new
Going in circles now, what could he do?
He thought what the heck
Hot breath on his neck
Too late he knows, who is tracking who!
Below:
Vertiginous
fish, foraging for flies
that hover above the water
level.
Above:
An eager eye
calculating, swooping
down with deadly talons splayed for
killing.
Deepest emerald sea
Steepest ascent, a spree
Whitebait shoals abounding
Await echo sounding
Attract gannets display
To extract gleaming prey

Swift moon owl
There, she boldly glides,
So far and wide
Against the boundless
Ocean tides
Thus, hearing the
Trident call of
The ambient moon
Swooping down,
Upon her prey
Grass-eating animals are their favorite food
Lions don’t eat carnivores, they are not in the mood
When they devour the tasty stomach of their prey
They can stay healthy one more day
A Bengal tiger has an uncanny hunch
That he'll encounter a tasty beast to munch
Finding an inedible Prey
with fear he roars go away!
Then runs to seek a more suitable lunch
On top of the food chain
Ocean’s great predator
Of dolphins orca’s prime
One clever hunting pod
Outmanoeuvres its prey
Onslaught starts on signal
Over once flesh devoured
Barn owl
silently swoops
spreading its wings, talons
wide with striking impact snatching
its prey.

Barn owl lands on the soft grass
With a giant whump
Scaring away mice and chipmunks
They scatter in many directions
A garter snake was not as lucky
He gets carried off in giant talons
Lunch for owlets
Excessive gullibility -makes you a victim, a prey?
Lucky you! I know how to treat such a dreadful disease.
Send me money and your troubles will go away.
You will stop trust anyone, anymore in any degrees.
