Fall apart at the seams

Hurtful Words
You shouted
I pouted
Hurtful words
Again
I lied
You cried
What is said
Is said
I'm mad
You're sad
What are
We doing...

Divorce
I pouted
I screamed
I shouted

I cried
I tried
I lost some pride

I’m going to take a hike
I’m going to take a ride
Good riddance and
Goodbye...

I once knew a fine poet named Dave
Who wrote poems that Shakespeare would crave
But when doubters shouted
Dave not only pouted
But fried his poems in the microwave...

Two Encores
Two Encores

Now please don’t think me a bragger,
But, I sung on stage with Mick Jagger.
There we pouted our lips,
and we wiggled those hips.

Two encores and Superstar swagger....

She knew every trick in the book
She pouted her lips
And wriggled her HIPS
Then asked you to pay for a look.

Doubted Than Shouted and Pouted
when we had doubted
many bad names were shouted
perturb and pouted

for words complete loss
that created much chaos
in bed turn and toss

rather repugnant
as well as being pungent
must be confidant

should see game scoreboard
see looked forward and toward
won when most points scored...

Timing
Your loss
my gain
your pain
my pain
I waited
you pouted
you shouted
I was calm
I was sure
you were slippery
your timing sucked
you showed your hand
no one believes you
pits is rampant
they whisper now behind their hands
your a fool
but I would have waited forever
to take my place in his heart....

Premium Member Sexiest In the Parade
She is so sexy!
She is adorable!
Look at that smile!
Look at those legs!

Thomas could not wait until she got closer.
He wanted to see this woman too.
When she did get right up to him she blew him a kiss,
And gave him a wink.

It was his daughter, Camelia.
When had she stopped being five?
He pouted the rest of the evening....

The Blend
This small town will be our end
Don’t you know that these walls
See and tell, these vibrant facades
I saw you dance and fall
Trappings of a time old
To the blare of a song loud
I saw not the lips that pouted
Till they touched mine
November might have been cold
But my embers were kindled
And as the wind blew,
You and I closer drew
Till the walls no longer knew
The dance floor of lips...

What
The look on her face
Told it all...
She made me know
That it's not 'seresere'
I wasn't joking as well
Then
Two don cut four...

I pouted
I hissed
I was pissed...
Surely boys are not smiling....

The reason was one
Misunderstanding...
Misjudgment...
Mistaking...
Everyone just misinterpreting
Your actions...
It vexes the soul...

But what can a man do?
Patience...

Such is life.......

Fie! Fie!! Relentless Lord!!!
A crippled devout is bedridden
None in his family to earn
His innocent, cherub children
Are dying of starvation!

With pouted lips they ask
‘O! relenting Lord hark!
To us why are you so merciless?’
Immutably He replies, ‘—Because you are faithless!!

‘The extortionist though he commits sin,
Prays me from his heart within!!’
Fie! Fie!! Relentless Lord!!!
Compassionate, clement Death! Be not proud!!...

Paradise of Tulips

Regal tulips in purple, blue and yellow
pink splendor ambled in sensuous glow
tantalizing rows of frenzy red capes
beauty swaying ...bouncing in waves.

Clustered far and wide, their pouted lips
flirting through a prism, beams of tulips.
demure dance and frolic, tempting kisses
spring gives birth...a rainbow of wishes.

The path I walk, so serene and divine,
This paradise I know will never be mine....

If I had a sunflower tub I could be nice Suzette said.
Her husband Lee believed her, for he is slow in his head.
He spent a bunch of time designing a glorious tub.
Suzette pouted a bunch, for she is a grouse-loving-slug.

Lee spent hours and hours but she was not ever sweet.
I would not make that tub for her, said Lee’s brother Pete.
But I love her Lee said, and she can be nice once a day.
Lee rolled his eyes, and swiftly drove far away....

SHADOWS

Actors on a dimly lit stage...

SCENE 1:

dead-eyed audience
whispers behind the black curtains
plastics smiles
reluctant hands
chained feet
pouted lips ...

SCENE 2:

... arctic hors d'oeuvre
copious food
wines, beers - pride Irish!
trivial tattles
inebriated
blank heads...

SCENE 3:

... crawl upstairs
darkness, touch and feel
snores, toss and turn, toss and turn …
cock craw
morning …
a vicious circle

SCENE 4:

cold eyes bores to sky ......

Premium Member Comet Wants To Be the Favorite
Comet, the oldest reindeer, wanted Santa to like him the best.
He pouted and was sad because of this need to top deer be.
Santa took him on a walk and they spied a robin’s nest.
That mother robin loves them all equally, do you see?

Comet was not able to understand, for an idea was in his head.
That no one would miss him if he dropped down dead.
Santa threw him a party, and all the reindeer gave a cheer.
Comet felt happier as he devoured hot pretzels and root beer....

His wife then stopped doing the ironing
even though her left arm's in a sling,
and fed him his soup with a spoon to his mouth
and pouted to him “ you poor thing”.
As she got out the hoover to vacuum
and watched as his arms hung down limp,
she looked to the sky and said “ God, tell me why
did you marry me off to a wimp?”...
