Poetry Month
My Poetry Month again will arrive
And any foolish fool should survive
Who poetry often would like to write
Many people may call poetry delight.
My poetry in a certain place is found
At www.poetrysoup.com all around
Name is something which just occurred
It is jthorn5656 and soldierboy is password.

Bio
National Poetry Month
Limb from limb, tear me apart.
Put me in a case with chains.
Cut out my bleeding heart.
In the river, toss my remains.
Don't leave any stains.
In the cold, my pieces shiver.
Piranhas gladly clean my bones.
Alligators eat my liver.
I'm erased, tied down with stones,
Wicked winds, bear my moans....

My Life Appears To a Dream
My life appears to a dream
For I dream
of meeting
the love of my life
in a dream
she haunted my dreams
for eight years
she walked out of my dreams
into my life
and became my wife
yes my life
resembles a fairy tale
complete with a princess
that rescued me
with her undying love
and made my life complete

every day I see our president
Trump proclaims that he will be president
his image haunts my dreams
dystopian nightmares propels my dreams
as the president proclaims he is president
the end of republic follows
no one hears our screams
He ushers in endless dreams
fascism inspires
our collective screams

The Bomb That Took Away Ravenfly Poem
Note: 3rd poem for april poetry challenge April 1 Ravenfly poem from from writing.com prompt
one day I woke up from my dreams
finding my self all alone
no one was there to hear my screams
staring at my now quite dead phone
I plugged in my phone read a note
it was from my lovely wife
My Wife had just gone out to vote
smiling thinking of my life
I got ready to face the dawning day
The TV showed the bombs that took her away...

National Poetry Month
You don’t stand a ghost of a chance,
I have a lot of patience.
I’ll do what it takes to win your heart
no matter what comes.
Day and night I’ll bombard you with gifts so
you’ll not be able to erase me from your mind.
My love for you burns so brightly
it blots out the sun.
I will write tender love poems
that will melt your cold exterior.
Nothing will keep us apart.

National Poetry Month
river ghost shivers gaze vicious wicked
We rowed around the river bend;
the moon peeped under a black cloud.
An eerie feeling it did lend-
beheld a ghost with a black shroud.
Our shivers increased as we rowed;
it followed us with a blank gaze.
And, then air currents quickly flowed
as winds intensified the haze.
What is this vicious scene we see?
What does the wicked vision want?
Then all at once, it flew with glee!
Black garbage bag- our scary taunt!...

President Trump Haunts My Dreams
president trump haunts my Dream
president Trump
haunts my dreams
daily dystopian nightmares
as he daily proclaims
the end to the republic
as he ushers in fascism
with his every lie
he corrupts the world
and I hate
seeing his bloated fat ugly body
that haunts my every dream
as I watch him rant and rage
against my old friends,
his enemies in the deep state
ushering in chaos and destruction

Life Is a Dream of Chocolate Covered Trees
life is a dream of chocolate covered trees
makes me so hungry to eat the trees
dark brown chocolate covered trees
as I eat them I hear the crunch of the leaves
and smell the dark chocolate smells
feeling the leaves in my mouth
as I touch the chocolate covered trees
filled with the sound of chocolate
enjoying the chocolate
with my wife Angela Lee
she turns to me and says
