I wait to hear,
as hymns of praise,
play in my ear.

In you alone,
I place my trust.
Your ways are loving,
true and just.

I pray my sins,
You will forgive.
My heart I bow.
In You I live.

Then, in a hymn,
Your voice, I hear,
singing to me,
clarion clear.

Listening for God,
