Premium Member Sans a Spade

A sizable portion of my life
I've passed, slobbering over
The antagonistic ashes
Of an untruth.

Years down the road,
By accident, I exposed;

Though this untruth,
Was deeply entombed in my psyche,
Via a mental backhoe,
Satan periodically excavates it
Sans a spade.

Broken Verse

The only communication left
is the words I write to you
in which you will never read

I review them. Periodically.

Trying to maintain this one sided relationship
in which you are gone.

But I can not let go.

This dialogue is the broken verse
of a story of love we once lived.

Actors Upon a Stage

That's what Children are,
Actors upon a stage
Sometimes, behaving as
if they've been let out of
a cage
Periodically, experiencing
fits of rage
As they, in their Playtime,
do engage
Having the tendency to act
a bit beyond their age
Until they turn in a chapter
of LIFE, to another page

Counting Grains of Sand

green rain swinging
to the tune of dancing
wind thirst of the
angry earth
quenching
beyond the limited
spectrum of experience
we are transmitting
white light prismatically
colors of wisdom periodically
awakening of hidden potentials
we are counting the grains of sand
peacefully and blissfully

Premium Member Shallow Graves

Shallow Graves By: Tom Wright 10-2005 Our memory is a place filled with shallow graves, where no painful thing can be buried so deep, that Satan can’t excavate it. Our memory is like a storage locker, in that it stores our thoughts, but allows us to inventory them periodically.

Premium Member Cholesterol Done Him In

I will eat liver periodically despite doc's kvetch

When I cease to function, upon my cold granite stone you may etch:

"Too much cholesterol clogged the veins of this unfortunate wretch!"

The Hypocrite

Uniformly swings
the hypocrite
as though on a pendulum,
to and fro,
the string of foul aim
transporting him.
With every swing
ever so timely,
a breadth of chaos unleashed.
The intent periodically he seeks -
the equilibrium unachieved.
For experiments his fate,
as body and heart wholly
of stone go
to and fro,
to and fro,
casting a million hates.

Metaphoric Whirlwind

I am offended
by your metaphors,
they're vindictive
the way they dangle themselves
above my heartstrings,
periodically plucking
when one gets tangled in the wind

they just hang there
like an untame pennon
waiting to flap
for blatant recognition

my, how you crave those squalls
with such ravenous gluttony,
gnawing at the pellucid air
as though it were chewable

Violet Light

Sinking through wispy clouds
On wings of amethyst
I design the sky
Refracting light to royal poise
Essence of purple blankets the sky

I take perch in a crystal prism
Resting on the end of the spectrum
Eminent land
No salacious rumors to be discerned
Void of transgressions

Here, I shall make stead
Periodically withdrawing to illuminate mortal sky
My grandeur, I shall share to all

Faith Is Tested

Time in time

a trial a test

mindful and renewed

periodically in pain

grief, sorrow, hurt

lasting in seasons

a reason in the hope

prayers along the way

silence, sincere

suffering, sleepless nights

knowing that all will be alright

longtime ending

the beginning, never-ending

Faith was extended

healed, renewed, no more pain

a miracle happened in Jesus's name.

Lost in a cage

Shadows are flying in my head.
Emotions are lost .
Darkness is running allover, thou life is a mystery.
Deeply I feel sad, deeply I feel happy, asking why life is worthless.

I can feel anger brewing inside my heart.
Periodically hateness is installed in my heart.
My emotions are lost in my own world, where I don't have access.

I'm lost in my thoughts.
I feel disconnected to the real world.

Premium Member Moon Children

Once a flower child
Always a Moon Child
Generations of Cancerians
Have aped the crab with tenacity
Large eyes and agility
Moving side-to-side silently
Moody on mournful days
Joyful in the sunlight
Giver of love
Taker of wise advice
Domestic yet athletic
Contraditions abound
For crazed moon children
Who beam and fade periodically

*July 13, 2014 (one day before this Moon Child’s birthday)

Premium Member Gone

She was like one taking to air on a wing,
Ensuing years cried out, show us your face.
As we languished behind feeling time's sting,
Zephyrs were carrying her from place to place.

The wind constantly whispered to us her name,
Periodically it seemed to appear as a gust.
And many years later our prayers answer came,
Because for her, in God, we'd placed our trust.

Shirlene was lost to us for many years.

Premium Member X Marks the Spot

Written: by Tom Wright January 2015 My memory, Is a site inhabited By a few shallow graves, For no painful matter have I interred, That Satan doesn’t periodically excavate it. He’s like an aging dog, digging up old bones Even when I displace to another location, He shows up marking an x on the spot Give me the person with burning desire, And you can have the one with talent. Men Live In Memories

Love and hate are the
part and parcel of life
Peace and war are the
costant processes in this world……

Health and diseases come
one after another
Like the nights and days
following each other…….

Sun and moon eluminate this world
periodically one after another
The omnipotent removes all
the evils from the world…..

Men never live for ever
in this universe
But he can live for ever
in memories of others……

The Black Pagoda

Situated in the state of Odisha,
It still glorifies India's ancient era.
It was dedicated to the Sun God Surya,
Being one of the wonders of India.
Built in the form of a gigantic chariot,
It's exquisite stone sculptures captivate us a lot.
Unfortunately the main sanctum collapsed,
And it's exact reason is still in dark.
Renovations are periodically done to keep it upright,
The temple is an UNESCO World Heritage Site!

My Book

A specification of an individual
A floods of tears
A buddle of joy
A amazement of a journey

The glittering of accessories
The shinning of stars
The alignment of planets
The rareness of seasons

A unification of oceans
A rambling of seas
A periodically of winds
A trampling of storms

The completeness of a promise
The experiences that have been acquired
The feelings that are being released
The love that has been stored

An Unrevised Poem About Baseball

I watched as the Mets slammed the opposition 10 -2
Been a fan for years
Played catcher for a little while as a kid
Watching sports is a great way to take your mind off
The terrible things we see in the news
Make a little money from writing
and check my stocks periodically
Some people think ballplayers are overpaid
They all make more than the President does
But sports are good for male bonding
Any females who love sports poetry
Please write me!

My Ability In Activity

My alacrity in activity,
Keeps me hectic during productivity;
Acuity instructs me to produce prolific periodically.
Heuristic and ingenuity guide me to invent novelty,
And to show a seraphic smile, is my priority.

My vitality in activity,
Directs me to invest virtuosity as to attain beyond quality;
Clarity rules me to output gigantic quantity with regularity.
Charity in my civility is the gift to exist in perpetuity,
And being pacific, is my duty.

Premium Member New Eyes

Listen to poem:
How did I not see this before?
The green of the trees
 with their cornucopia of shades
Layered and punctuated periodically
with a unique dapple of light
Amid the litany of man's failing
 concrete towers
The leafy giants stride imperceptibly
 towards notoriety
Saving the planet
 one gramme at a time
As the humans race past.
The leisurely somnambulants
 biding, stretching, organically
  rooted in their dancing
   to the alternate tune
    of Nature's longevity
