Premium Member Mortar Or Mortel

Ring a ding the ice cream truck is pealing
the monotone of a rut day to trap the rat

no amount of cheese will make me budge
the beauty of a flight to orbit the universe.

Premium Member Chimes Pealing

I hear the chimes pealing from the steeple high
Glorious sounds of hymns hovering over all ~~
Like sweet voices of angels their message nigh
From ages past a clear and certain clarion call.

Free Me...

I'm crawling on the glass ground
pealing for you to stop
I cry stop your hurting me
but you hit harder
you grab harder
half an hour passed
I'm drownding in my crimson pool
your swimming in tears
held up inside
screaming to be set free
free me from this burden you ask
free me
free me
free me!

Premium Member Moral Confection

Moral confection
is like facial complexion
that changes
with exposure to weather

like it or not
we are our elements

sweetly pimpled

when saturated
dried and cracked
and pealing
for deprived of
right feeling

and creams and lotions
are only physical motions

getting us spiritually nowhere

Forbidden Wells

Echoed pealing of far-off bells

chases thoughts that swirl somewhere else,

                                                        each mile,

                                                       worthwhile,

thirst is slaked at forbidden wells.

Premium Member Robins In Springtime

When velvet robins dive at night, to herald new spring’s lit premiere a chorus drools upon the lake; enchanting waves to bounce along and near a harbor, jasmines twirl from lively notes of birds' refrain... music pealing for spring's debut! Jesse Rowe's One Stanza Contest

Sound

Sound
breaches inner silence
of beating heart and tympanic ear
to be lost briefly in universal rhythm
  of time's reverberating chord
resonating noisy earth and sonic sky
pealing our name out loud
tolling we are ready
the knell of loud then quiet
die.

Jingle Bells of Heavens Kind

Can you hear the pealing of the bells?
Ringing amidst some incense smells.
A golden dawn is breaking in,
It's time for prayer, not making sin.
A tryst with God is what you've made,
To protect you, from all things bade.

Premium Member Sounds Long Gone

Shop bells tinkling from eight 'til late
queuing customers having to wait;
Thursday,closing at noon
opportunity to court and spoon.

Collection boxes built into walls,
gossiping ladies in their shawls;
Bells pealing on the hour,
drays pulled by one horse power.

Factory hooters' blowing
Moring cocks' a crowing;
Cycle bells a-ringing,
Food home delivery a-bringing.

So Heavy, But Soft

So heavy are the words of pealing thunder,
But soft, the language of whistling winds.

So heavy is the voice of fierce storm,
But clear, the language of a trickling stream.

So heavy is my heart, ravaged and riven,
But soft, your hand in mine.

So heavy is my mind, hazy and uncertain,
But soft is my sunshine, my love, my world.

So heavy, but soft.
So heavy, but soft.

Love Toy

Castaway as an old toy
Broken with rusting parts
Paint pealing wood showing
Thrown away like trash

Pickup and repaired
New paint rust removed
I am no longer blue
Given to a new soul

White heart brand new
Like Christmas morning
Eyes bright and shinning
Smiles lighting up the room

Unwrapped bow removed
Playing all day with you
Gently placed upon bed
Still thinking of you

Chimes

Clear crystals eat iron voices. The wind dies; its bones rattle on. A stealing wind moves many loose tongues, but where? "Where' is not the question but a movement, a rapport pealing from somewhere. When wind is silent, wind chimes listen. Speech goes deaf when the wind rings. A snow laden sky sings under our feet. Icicles chime in the sunlight. Tinkling is the light.

I Kissed the Rain

I kissed the rain
as it fell upon my lips
it tasted pure and sweet
drops of heavenly tears

I stretched my arms wide
in a welcoming embrace
drowning myself in the moment
lost in the sweetness of the kiss

I danced with the rain
as it wrapped me tenderly
washing me all over
taking my sadness away

I laughed with the rain
my voice was lost in the wind
as my pealing laughter merged
with the sound of the pouring rain

Premium Member Decay

Flowers fade; so too physical beauty,
Smiles, laughs, glamour and gorgeousness shrivel;
Wealth and health wane; so too every booty,
Bells that start pealing with birth ends with knell,
Death and decay like spell in each cell dwell;
Seeds decay within womb of earth springs, yet,
Rising of the sun does follow its set;
Though body rots, soul existence revives,
Let not notion of death our heart upset,
Life, however, eternally survives...

Morning bells sound sweetly in my ear From steeple yon their pealing reaches me Each day begins with ringing far and near Morning bells sound sweetly in my ear Melodies of love and faith I love to hear Sounds of “Amazing Grace,” how can it be Morning bells sound sweetly in my ear From steeple yon their pealing reaches me.

For My Shadow

we
dressed for visibility
armed with answers
we had no questions for

you
the only one who knows me
who goes away when the lights go out
and disappears at noon

O! how you are ahead of me sometimes...
So thin the thing between us
what we've always hoped for
and what we've always been.

pealing back the landscaped features
sets you apart
but we are getting closer
every day

staring at it
unfolding

the looming emptiness before me

My shadow
o abyss
opening up
o, abyss, abyss!
