Premium Member Lamarck's Theory of Evolution

Lamarck’s theory of evolution
What we learn we pass to our offspring
Scientists jumped on the bandwagon at first.
Due to his good looks and insistence.

Flower For a King

his name made fame
he was white
on the pass to right
had a sucessfull life
now he layed to rest
no longer at the desk
now with angel wing
FLOWER FOR AKING

Please Peace

Fighting for peace - dying for his Petra
No pen – No power
Try play despite the plight
Parties partition.
People partition.
People with no petition.
Places persist proportionally.
People pass to a new place.
Peace!
Please Peace – O’Israel, Palestine.

Muse Abuse

It goes against my better judgment.
To sit and write when the pain is so fresh.
Or maybe it's my nature to run and hide.

I don't remember how long it's been.
I don't even remember the reason why.
Sometimes the spirit loses out to the unborn day.
And time must pass to help you find your way.

Premium Member Passing

All things must past and too this rage inside me, igniting a torment the whole world wide,
From Cain to sage and fool alike,
This rage must pass to better days,
Where my daughter is loose to roam free,
And her children know the furious joy of harmony,
All things must pass,
And too this rage will leave me.

The Niggard

English Three Verse Haiku Poem (c)

So much of all things
Had he, of gold, silver, pearls.
He never gave a
Thing away…the poor
From him got naught… He horded
All he ever got.

He lived a miser...
Death saw all his wealth pass to
Another niggard.

Clock

the tomorrow's pass to quickly
today becomes the past
minutes and hours we lose
never to get them back

I need to slow this down
and savor all that's there
taste the honey's nectar
exploring all that's here

how do we stop the clock?
as it loudly ticks away
keeping this time we've got
before it's yesterday

The Feel of Someone Other

No one person can resist the feel of someone other
The warm embrace of someone who heart beats to yours
Blended finger tips
Mixed skin tones from
different bodies
no one individual wants to be lost on a shelf
To smell someone who you love
after they pass to the after life
let's you know
The feel of someone other is powerful.

Premium Member March Madness - Rev

As madness takes hold,
the valiant will stand.
They've only one goal,
must win to advance.
Go bold or go home.
Take matters in hand.
Seal the deal closed.
Become National Champ's.
Treasured strands of rope.
Welcome To the Big Dance.

It was a back-door deal.
ran through the lane.
Dish pass to low post
A Bunny Wins the game.

Premium Member Out Past the Breakers

What would you say if you lived to a hundred?
What bits of wisdom to pass to your kindred?
More time at work, I assure you it ain’t;
Precious to Him, the death of His saints.
The kingdom’s not open to blood or to flesh.
Fear not the twinkling when all is made fresh.
Out past the breakers, press on through the gloam.
There He awaits; be precious, be known.

Though few drive off-road in their truck
Pick-up owners have run amok
Having a tail gate
Their mood will elate
While the cabin carries a schmuck

Author's note: A pass to those folks who use their truck for business on a regular basis. However, a status truck reveals a weak mind and hurts the environment more than a "normal" car. Those are already bad enough.

Premium Member Wait

“Make haste and wait” he said Tiptoe the fine line among the dead Picket fences pass to memory By design, now is an interruption Where the past and future align By the wooded tree line Fine squirrels play in careless debate To bury artifacts from the living tree Plucked from where they lie in state Into the vast dark wonder they sow To be a mighty oak Or something to devour on a winters mourn

Premium Member Clear Consideration

It's clear we pass to little ones

A world that we have wrought

               And children don't see hatred

     Until they're clearly TAUGHT ...

So ask yourself just what your

          Actions may be teaching, too

               And what our future's leaders

     Are now clearly learning, too.

(Or maybe thru their honest eyes

          WE could learn a thing-or-two)

Flight Guy

Watching you across the aisle
On this flight there are many booked
Standing out from among them all
I liked the way in which you looked
You seemed to be somewhat restless
Raising your head you'd often look around
Was it you had a fear of flying?
Did you just want to be on solid ground?
I like your disheveled business look
I'd like to know you more
Should I pass to you my number?
As we're walking through the door

"me, Just Me"

I spent half my life chasing the devil...
Thank God I was always followed by an Angel..
Tried my best to be a gentlemen and love life..
Did my best to always not to choose wrong over right...
The truth is what you got from this later in life poet...
Hope my words go on for others to show it...
So as I pass to the other side, when you think
of me remember, I did enjoy the ride....

Dead Alive

Mourned to be the one -
To wake -
To live -
To see -
To walk -
Alive but dead -
Days by day, my oasis lives by the colour of night -
Energies of the living, absorbed -
To live in the between of dead -
Peace to be found, the yard where we spade the graves -
Where tombs act the way of stones -
The dead of the flowers, vase the portraitof a future to be -
Flesh to earth, invested to be inverted -
Still born -
Aged we pass to birth -
To be boned -
To die in death

The Powerful

I'm very powerful
than you couldn't believe,
and every where i pass
i leave people cry and others dead.
I have no time t occur,
and none can block
the way where i pass to destroy everything.
Whenever i try to move,
i shake the world you live
hence you start to think about where to hide
when it's too late.
I have no mercy to you
because you ever believe
that you're powerful than all
which i always know that it's not true
according to what i think the earth quake.

To Pass To a Generation

One cannot live for another
Even though he is your brother
One cannot die for another
Even though she is your mother

When you have had your time in the Sun,
Willingly give up life when it is done.
If you want to take of life some more,
You will when you pass through Eternity's door.

But, as a generation comes from you, they are free
To become different from you and me.
All we should give are the true and just qualities of life
And not our trouble, hatred, and strife.
