Holding tight her virginity..
Timid, twas her heart's tithe
As parting her silken garment
To offer her bride love's bloom.
passionate, parting
florescent gatherings oft
the electric lights

Great love
My love
But what great love bears not great pain
If not in daily tribulation
Then at thy final parting

A word or two with you
worth a million texts
Squeezing hands ‘fore parting
cure for desultory sex
Parting ways
so bittersweet
Makes your return
twice the treat
Teardrops coming down,
The ground parting in two,
Sunshine burning bright.
~Dedicated to the memory of Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi
Countless ages past,
On this beach of shifting sand
Great mountains once stood.
I can barely remember
The reasons for our parting.
baby star heralds
hail dawning gild glimmering
aloof flora wakes
leaves billow parting top wisp
breath orangey-red's farewell
a long parting kiss-
imprinted on my lips
her lingering heat

Form:
A whispered breath falls,
Soft as twilight’s quiet glow,
Parting shadows stretch—
Silent echoes softly drift,
A gentle, fading goodbye.
Please don't be distressed,
It's become a tangled mess.
You don't want me here.
Every meeting has its end,
Perhaps someday we'll be friends.
My mother-in-law is a ghost
Who lived her life on beans and toast
And since her parting
Never stops farting
Nor complaining I'm a poor host!
fill the void, oh! hotshot
knuckle down to call in question
like elucidation of parting shot
triviality over inflection

Filtering clouds
of morning sleep
Misting,
parting,
hidden haze,
Wind from my passing walk
Blows bluing notes in the sky.
A leaf lets go mild,
moving down through brilliant shine~
no war, no regret.
Even parting has its joy,
when the weather knows its time.
It ended as it began.
Not with an exclamation
But with a sigh
A soft exchange
A parting of hearts
Us turned to you and I
Of all my love's,loved far and wide,
Only one was at my side.
And if love is but desire, the fire she built,
Has covered me in lonely cotton clouds.
Urges to kill rises like oceans,
And burns within like hellfire.
Consuming then parting as fast as it came,
And leaving nothing but a void to fill.
an unexpected burst of creativity
einstein’s hair, pink and on fire
his green robes parting
I am running along his bare chest
smirking at imagination
Bursting,
parting
rising
submit
covenant gathering universe
planet stars families’ trisections

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. •
a neglected yearning
orphaned, long before death
concealed in view
obscured to the world
a parting conductor; reflected
an isolated pair
left without
If parting is
Such sweet sorrow
I must have failed to notice
That saccharine sentiment
When I left you
Because goodbyes solely
Bring dreadful distress

LOST LOVE
long parting kiss-
imprinted upon my lips
her lingering heat
tears flood my cheek
I whisper au-revoir-
winter clouds my soul
