Like commode water
Once cherished times
Were flushed from the mind,

Cherished times pooled
Beneath observable wants
Leaving the pacifier of friendship
Resting between the lips of our souls.

Xylophones

Able bodied children dead!
Even fate grieves hopelessly
In justified keening, lamentation, mourning.
Not one pacifier!
Queens royally sejant...
Troops under vultures' wings,
Xylophones yack zealously...

Trump Big Baby Born a Papoose

Trump Big Baby Born a Papoose

We gave up Trump saying what is the use;
Trump acts like big baby born a papoose,
Out words spitting,
And never quitting;
While in public pacifier he will produce.

My Pacifier

When I can't sleep
When am down
When I grow white hair waiting
When I want to dream
When am worried
When I want to feel good
When I want to hide
When I want to be left alone
When I want to connect
When i have no choice
When, i can choose

Premium Member Be Glad They Are Not Bats

Spotless lady bugs parade out of the envelope
We have never seen anything like this
Where did you order this stuff? My husband asks.
The return label says China
The bugs keep marching steadily toward us.
They are now on the recliner, the counter, the baby’s pacifier.
Just be glad they are not bats, I say quietly
As one enters my mouth.

Enough For Her

enough for her alone what stones she shreds to daylight stars look up on her cotton candy pacifier sun felt blowing glass moons dream denier sky stretched her horizons as miles waited ends pitch forked and surrendering darkness baked a cake she blows flame ing candles change minds light as time blurrs alone enough for her ?

Congratulations to you both on your son’s absurdly early acceptance to Yale
For he has succeeded where so many others fail

Just so you know in advance, he can bring his favorite bottle with him
disposable diapers, pacifier, and for the brand-new campus sandbox

Just Like the Pacifier- Image 3 2016-04-09

His body pleading for one more drop.
Wailing as it is crippled with pain.
His beating heart begs for just one more taste.
Like a baby cries for its pacifier,
his arm cries for the needle.
The blood running through his veins craves the numbing
feel of its long lost friend.
With his hands trembling,
and eyes watering,
he attempts to feed his addiction.
But the needle will never satisfy the addiction,
just like a pacifier will never satisfy hunger.

Premium Member Crying For More

Though not a baby
 he needs this pacifier
His veins are crying out to him
 For a shot of heroine
 They must be fed
 The fix is in

He has sown the seeds of addiction
and now it's time to reap
 Having been fed, he sleeps
but he has fallen in too deep
He will not awaken from this ...
  nightmare... needles dripping....
       tears..

the needles lay scattered on the floor
but his veins will cry no more
                     ---
