A man in a dream called once his wife
By another women's name.
What can I say? He lost his life
In bed, without pain .
Romantically symbolic for sure
Munch's metaphor takes the floor
here in the Dance of Life*
so many are especially rife
every
word
from
the
start
yet
i
shall
pluck
them
from
my
heart
every word
to
cleanse
the heart
once more
Rice and dhal curry
Cooked hot
Rice or curry
Taste good
To serve again
Like a good poem
Wish to read once again
More than once I beckoned
More than once I tried
To cower down beneath you
My shadow, my pride.

The words a magic salve….
for the unspoken wound
—of a thought once denied
(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2014)
Busy at work my home,
A fleet of black ants,
Loading bits and pieces like tanks,
Rain came sudden,
Once ants gone hidden!
The casualties of war
It shocks me
to the core
the
barbed wire fences
at your door
then
we ask
for peace
once more
once a life
I lived
filled with amusement
but a fool I was
till fate opened the door
to show me the carcasses
of my joy
once
in a great while
snow falls
straight down --
no icy slants
no whirling dance --
past Autumn's
bewildered
leaves
A bewitching duality,
Neon colours dance atop mirrored puddles,
Spectacle, iridescent artwork,
Blemished only by the rain
Form:
once more
an open door
weathering yet
another storm
this place you hold
where forgiveness grows
like a tulip
in my soul
ONCE UPON A TIME
Before death was life
Life led to this after death
Once upon a time
11/08/17
by James Edward Lee Sr.
we work all the time
and to shine
be free
to wine and dine
so let loose
and get some fresh
air
we do this
ONCES A YEAR
Form:
When i was young and wily
I had fast wings on my feet
Now i`m still young but tired truly
Today i do not run but sow seeds
You only live once. Don't let your time for happiness be consumed by hate, especially for things that you can't even understand.
Will memories I have remain?
It is my fear that they will not;
for children think I am insane,
and what I say is best forgot.
only
one
once
meet me
theirs twice
twiddled thumbs
dunmp'ling'ed rice
homily fun wants
hunts
only one once
?
Tangled in a web that is woven
Thinned out thread once golden
Captured in a love so divine
Now sowed together time after time
Thank you for the good times,
Even though they had to end,
Even the sour taste you left,
Will remind me of our once word "friend".
Form:
Everyone was born once
But not everyone absorbs the
Weight of their name.
And not even rise to carry it with truth.
A life is not lived once
But many times over
In the memory.
Perusal of which read
Calender-flipped tells each
Stage of a story.
Song of yesteryears,
played on radio today,
which had made us waltz;
moist eyes filled with memories:
felt you in my arms again.
Christmas comes once a year, but you are not suppose to drink a Beer ask Norman Lear.
Christmas is here to say i am here day by day.
Flames of love drift
In the oceans of passion
Waves of fulfillment
