Wasted Words

On tiptoe
or on bended knee
Here with you,
or there with me
Silence tasted
takes its toll
Love, wasted,
on the troll

Sunday Service

Our Preacher's zipper is broken
Yet nary a word was spoken
On bended knee
We all could see
For Sunday Service, he's jokin'!

Honored

Given his grace and will to be
Humble now on bended knee

Heavenly father, God I'm Free
Thank you then, for all you've given me

Cherish the Moment

Cherish
You hold me up
as a champion's cup
you cherish me
on bended knee
you ask,"Marry Me."

You Have 1 Friend Request

In finest suit
On bended knee
I once asked you
To marry me.
You said no-
That was our end,
So why should I be
Your facebook friend?

Spoiled Fruit

Red ripened fruit on mangled little tree
Spoiled readily before its time
Beauty simply fallen on bended knee
Tasted heavily of divine crime
Now no more doth it shine

Stars Bright Shining

Stars bright shining in the sky

Goddess twinkling in my eye

Shining on my willow tree

Meditating on bended knee

Goddess smiling face I see

Send it back three times three

On Bended Knee

You can take away health,
   you can take away riches,
you can take my ability to see

But it will only cause me to feel
  you more
—as I cry from bended knee

On Bended Knee

Sword of
the noble
With fury
unsheathed
Trumping
dishonor
And knaves
unreprieved

Knighted in
armor
Endowed
from on high
Legend
heraldic
 With duty
— reprised

Premium Member She

She's the better part of me

She's all my weary eyes can see

She's everything I want to be

A guiding light is she

All I need to set me free

All I want in life is we

All my love on bended knee

And all I hope is she

My Wished For Valentine

Cupid, the angel of love,
Being sent from above
Came and found me,
Praying on bended knee
Then, aiming his bow,
He shot one arrow
And when I was struck,
It was more than luck
For I knew then you'd be mine,
My wished for Valentine

I Blow

On bended knee I blow my flute
I think I sound better than the corner Juke
                           But...
She turns red when she hears my sound
then heads for the door, never turning around !

Whisper

Trying to break free
Learning to love thee
To love me
On bended knee
I found my place
Interlaced like lace
Running my fingers
All over your face
Memorizing the beauty
Within your grace
Hypnotized by the promises
Your lips whipered on my face.

He Is With Me

I cried out to God on bended knee
I listened as He prayed over me
That prayer made all the difference
Yes indeed it set me free
Now set free I am so joyful
All the day long I sing His praises
Lifted high above the heavens
He's with me all of my days

Premium Member We Grow To Be Raisins

I write you this poem
Painting the scenery
Wordage from emotions
Pictures inked in me

I rest on bended knee
Proposing how I feel
Becoming another self
Revealing inner peel

We grow to be raisins
Turning ever sweeter
A dream as real as us
Awakening beside her

Three Bottles of Dowry

I bought you
Three bottles of dowry
The Barman is my witness
Then you staggered away
Leaving me on bended knee
You called out Mama and fled
Clutching on the chronicles
On a Sunday midnight
when we roam
What brought you to the bar
I bought you three!

Kyrie Eliason

Your light has always shone on me
the grace instilled with deep belief
I light a candle and say a prayer
I can always find You there
when I pray on bended knee
or a quick "ask" where ever I may be
an answer always come from You
kyrie eleison, shine Your truth
