An olive focaccia
Fried savour slice
An onion frittata
Cheddar soda bread
Granny's bread pudding
Cornish cream
Nice!
muse on a roll
scores goal after goal
failing to recognise
the reason it so flies
is benediction of grace
heart did so embrace
Population Control
Is on a roll
In the West.
Elsewhere, however,
Babies are--
Price-less.
Don't stop me now, I'm on a roll
Rhymes are surging like a river flows
The mighty Mississippi
To New Orleans city
Are you ready, people? Thar she blows!
When you're hot and on a roll
You think you're in control
Suddenly ice-cold...
What happened to your grip
Seems it was illusory ~
You were never Captain of your ship
I'm on a roll, no stopping me now
It would give me a hernia, holy c-c-cow
Stuff would seize up
My butt would slam shut
Poetic constipation it would surely fall-ow
I am on a roll
‘Cause it’s my last day to be in my sixties.
At seventy, I get to tell the truths
And make no apologies for it.
Damn!
I am a day ahead.
Have pen
Will travel
Ha!
I'm on a roll, not a toilet paper roll
Methinks most would agree, if you took a poll
Mostly good limericks
At times just gibberish
Over the top silly, certainly not droll
Some swelling here and THERE
Some sweating everywhere
Fatigue on every body
Excitement hormones on a roll
Enchanting journey role
The so awaited package nears..
"Leo" may need to roar..
Holy Crappola, I'm still on a roll
After eighty-one years, still a naughty old troll
Still love the ladies
Drool over them daily
Seems I'm an oversexed grandpa who's out of control
On a roll again, fell off the wagon for a bit
A wee glitch, no idea why garbage I did emit
Well I'm over it now
No more nonsense I vow
Strictly perfection as usual, really no ****!
Don't stop me now, on a roll my friends
Destined for greatness wearing my Depends
As I accept congratulations
Squirming during my oration
Hope no one notices and my speech transcends
Definitely on a roll, not a bread roll you sillies
Lims often stream out my bum, willy-nilly
Okay settle down people
It's really not illegal
But I see how it can break the tranquillity
Don't stop me now, I'm on a roll my friends
Destined for greatness wearing my Depends
As I accept congratulations
Squirming during my oration
Hope no one notices and my speech transcends
Skiffle was on a roll,
we danced to Nat King Cole,
Elvis was King;
Rock 'n Roll made all things swing,
And Jiving was the 'thing'
Fifty years have just slipped by...
Since that day that we said 'Hi'
Cutting to the chase
School is the far most place
Learning never stops
No matter how old we are
The earth is so vast
Just as our minds
Using small portions
Wast valued signs
Books
People
Events
Open door sits
Too Short
I'm out of control
feet don't reach
my bike's on a roll!

Are you heading downwards,
Your life out of control,
No longer on the up and up,
No longer on a roll?
For life is a scary ride,
So you’d better hold on tight,
But the good news is;
For every bit of darkness,
There usually -
Is some light.
A roll's role is to be on one
The roll of a role can be random
What's on a roll plays a role ~
Unless the role turns into sand man

Intellectually impressive
now on a roll
Happy Happy
Good for the soul
Restoring, Rejoicing
Stirring surprise
Nicely nurturing
Transforming ties
Favourable friends
Flourishing free
Dazzled, Delighted
Joyfully.
Luminous, lovely
Bubbly and new
Making me smile
Excellent you!
CHILDHOOD GAMES
bouncing a ball against a wall
conkers bashed as Autumn falls
the swish of a skipping rope
hop skotch chalked in the dry
nearby swings swung high
five-stones on a roll
tin-can tommy in fading light
pooh stick streams
homespun childhood - a delight
Some dogs are disasters,
ignoring their masters;
she’s simply not that type.
Though she gets on a roll,
she’s quite good on the whole,
so I rather hate to gripe.
My one little issue:
she likes to eat tissue,
a form of internal wipe.

A Balissa stanza: 6b:6b:7a:6c:6c:7a:6d:6d:7a
I find I tend to fixate one one thing:
A bit like falling down a rabbit hole.
I'm not sure why the solitary cling,
But I can't leave it once I'm on a roll.
It seems that once I get into the swing,
It's though it grabs and won't release my soul.
And then, before you know it, I've moved on,
And to the next obsession I am drawn.
E-veryday you're on a roll,
V-ictory is in your hand;
A-lmighty God is pleased, for you obey His command.
S-ailing from ocean to ocean,
A-ll storms just pass you by;
N-ever does the Lord leave you,
T-wenty-sixth of July.
I-n spite of the odds,
A-nytime you are capable;
G-reat triumph will wait,
O-nce you're on a roll.
May's autumn moon glow
Frames a misty show,
Air so icy cold
Freezing feel unfolds.
Feel deep icy grip
Confront a plain trip,
Few more steps to stroll
Cold wind on a roll.
Home at last we reach
Frozen feelings teach,
Coldness pierces deep
Seek warmth ere fond sleep.
