Deities

Deities are Almighties,

Invincible are these;
Those with Obliging kin, like these
Shall be.

Sharon Seamen

A man paid a witch for an hex
To help his wife want much more sex
They went on a cruise
Where she made the news
Obliging the men on all decks

Electra

She tipped to the grand Electra:
a hat filled velvet and tinsel,
a blinding devotion of sunsets,
a passion to sleep through the day.

And if in the morning you find her obliging
or curled 'round the edges and taut...
Hold your hand to your eyes to block out the light
and speak, if you've something to say.

Acts of Kindness

Affectionate approach
Compassionate comportments
Timely Thankfulness
Solacing suffering souls

Obliging orphans
Forgiving fakers

Kindling kindness
Ignoring insensitivity
Nourishing the needy
Digesting displeasure
Nurturing necessitous
Embracing enemies
Selfless sharing and
Sometimes simple smile

Sentiment

The sense of beauty pervaded
In the moment when admiration
Became a flutter of the heart

And it transformed into words
That spoke of emotions
And honesty.

And from such kindness
Obliging acts are gained or given
Albeit unnecessarily,

Though most times it suffices
That admiration just like love
Seeks no affections returned.

The Favors

The thing with favors is that they eventually
outdo themselves,
Almost like overzealous elves,
One too many favors may deem a person
too obliging,
Sometimes they are enhancers to one
who is conniving,
After a while, favors become redundant,
and they disappear from the memory,
because humans are fickle and lack
camaraderie.

The Reepers Poem

There is an ambiance about you.

A sadness but a rarity

Wish I could individualize you...

Impart..

Define you...

I anticipate obliging you.

Caressing your bruises

Running my fingertips across your disfiguring tenement.

Telling you it'll be OK.

Even thought it wont.

I still wanted you to know

You're beautiful.

Resolve

Blue melancholy stalks today
To wheedle me with sulking voice
But rather than to fall its prey
I instead resolve to rejoice

And celebrate this blessed life,
Obliging not this day’s brief plight
But honoring so little strife
Through years of gladness and delight.

I Want It Now

Right now I’m thinking, Beach, ocean, sea, waves and gulls around me; Sand and salty breezes in my hair; It’s nineteen degrees outside and I’m frigid, even here, inside. I don’t suppose an obliging house elf Would conjure it for me, would he? What am I saying? There he is, napping snugly beneath my electric blanket; The one he won from me in a poker game!

Gladiolus

Florid elegance ablush
Nestled in gardens lush
Pigments triumph aplenty
Resilient verdant sentry

Colossal erectile shoots
Ingrain deep abyssal roots
Precious tis platinum spun
Abreast arising sun

Glorious tis supple reign
Aubade beauteous engrain
Vibrant sword lily plant
Borne on Gaia’s decant

Traverse archaic path
Helios waning wrath
Shadows await dusk
Abscond obliging musk

Within Her Eyes

Obliging black arms, their crooked
fingers cut freezing as they
reach for winter greys, blues of sky,

untouchable. Shaking, bending.
Mulish winds sweep lands- violence
loved, admired. They are framed

within my eyes green as last summer's
carpeting, where the trees were rooted.
Embroidered. Weaving native

life. Earth milled, the purest white
hush to lull. Charming. Dreamlike.
Persistent as memories.

Brewing Sunsets In Teapots

I brew sunsets in teapots
I drink the dawn from a mug
and in my bicycle basket I have seduction in a jug
so now and then I take someone clean shaven home to my obliging bed
when I guess I should sit quietly pristine,
with my legs crossed instead
but each day is so fragile
they black out every evening in the west
and all I got is these frail minutes
and I only want to live them, as if they were a fest.

Silence Of The Lambs At School

The school bell rang and out they came, fiddling,
all the while, a bright sunny smile bursting,
out in the playground then contemplating,
what more fun and games are there for playing,
teachers looked at the hush field, pondering,
ado of the silence of the lambs, thing,
thought their indulgence will be, obliging,
their final idea was exciting,
the playground alive till school bells ringing,
inside happy kids, with teachers, fiddling.

Fly Nursery Rhyme

Don’t ask me why a pesky fly comes by
Whenever I sit down to have a meal
And she stays staring at each bite I take
As if she wants to say let’s make a deal
To let her sample then make up her mind
While lips she licks and then with tears implore
To my obliging sentimental heart
Until, like Ollie Twist, she asks for more.

Jiu Jitsu Legs

the art of softness
a way of yielding
my face wears a
cunning samurai smile
after we make love
and I press tight
with my thighs
around your waist
my ankles locked
I lie under your chest
with the illusion
I have yielded to
your attack of love
and now I have you
with my jujitsu legs
grappling your heart
and I challenge you
with my eyes
to elude my hold
you offer no fight
only an obliging grin
and a docile glance
and I realize
completely unarmed
you just won
the match
