October

Wood nymphs flittering;
All faerie wood emblazon;
Day lends length to night,
Impish pumpkins flicker winks;
As cats creep shadowed black.

Zues and the End

All burned, charred death
Everywhere, forever gone
Hello I joke, killed lovers
Men, nymphs
Old powers quarrel
Rest, still
Telling urgently
Venus wanes xenon
 Yearly….Zeus

The Moonlit Pond

Smiling mermaids bathe
As love struck nymphs and fairies
On the backs of fish
Course around the moonlit pond
Watched by crooning frogs and toads

Nature's Angels

Spritely wood nymphs dance
darting and dashing away
weaving their magic
nature's nurturing angels
who sing heavenly
captivating their world with
a symphony of splendor.

Hail Santa

We need more turkey over here
Together with noggins of beer
A lady bare
Would stir the air
With nymphs who are pure and sincere!

Strumming the guitar in the softest ways possible
Sheila brought forth an ethereal melody of her own
So gorgeously fingered, that it brought in the fey
Brownies, faeries, elves and nymphs stayed to listen

Welcoming Spring

On
lucent
gossamer
wings fulgent in
my precious garden
nymphs spin golden trumpets
welcoming spring. Gentian bells
sway blithely beneath jubilant
incantations arousing cupids
ardent desire blossoming cherry pink.

woeful wanting world wages war,
wait, woodland wakens, wondrous wind instruments,
wafting whimsically,
wood nymphs waltz,
whooping cranes whish wherever,
woodpeckers woolgathering,
woebegone withers,

Wind Nymphs

Stands every headland upon
Each, seaward facing
If but felt a-twirl
Outlines a young girl
Diaphanous-gowned.

There, beneath, rising up on
Whose frolicesome air
Made of whom, wave-high
Or just teased in by
Delirious sound.

Once, wild herds of elephants blew trumpets
as spiced tea and jam slathered crumpets
brightly declared the sun would shine soon,
snapping the spell of a thin crescent moon.
Like a child's prayer, out flowed golden hair,
turning nymphs to butterflies everywhere.

Summer Portrait

Rays of stray sunlight
 Part your auburn hair
As you walk in the cornfield,
 Breathing breath as fresh

 As the strawberries
That grow in the far patch
 Hard and red as nipples
 To suckle fat nymphs that

 Push past twisted tendrils
 And linger beneath watermelon
 Leaves at eventide

Premium Member Animals Sensed Wood Nymphs Love

Wood nymph was wearing flowers in her hair.
Her eyes were oozing kindness.
She sat still, not speaking.
The animals came to her.

a mouse
two squirrels
three chickadees
a deer

They sensed her love for them
a rabbit hopped by
feeling her wholesomeness
none were fearful, even a tiny bit.

Nature

Night and day cast their spell
        Natural aura blooms
                  Nectar pours from heavens
                  Nourishing yearning souls
         New scenes paint each moment
          Newts frolic in ponds as
          Nymphs watch over fondly

Premium Member Black Pools

The stream never really spoke to you
that was just a misty fantasy.
No wisdom or hidden messages...
just a rush of nymphs cackling.

The cells of a stream are always on the move.
The heart of a stream is always pretty cool.
The soul of a stream always lay at the bottom of black pools.

The Ideal Woman

Let us immigrate like birds
Looking for homeland
You are a woman
But you are not as all women
You are the homeland
You are a woman from among
 Women of the world
The world …where is the world?
The world is a cave.full of nymphs
And you are the nymph of this world
I will write about you
Till I make you a saint...

Premium Member A Flurry of Winged Petals

Raindrops
fall like nymphs
darting and dodging
twittering
elfin echoes
in camouflage
dancing
on my face
skating
on my fingernails
like frozen ponds
glistening
in a flurry
of winged petals
balancing
on my eyelashes
like liquid orchids
poised
to flower
their laughter
muffled berries
yet to blossom

Dancers; And Nymphs! - by a coast

Formed out of winds, rhapsodic
Dancers; and nymphs! Unseen.
Baring that diaphanous sheen
Eves, mentioned. Time, mystic!

By whom in love, in their midst
Tread lighter. Sprightlier!
One hillside on down, airiest
Tall-grassed, gold-tipped does sway.
To a beach. From out whose coves' spray
Spawned. If but sensed him, her.
