The Moonlit Pond

Smiling mermaids bathe
As love struck nymphs and fairies
On the backs of fish
Course around the moonlit pond
Watched by crooning frogs and toads

Oh, that's a cute one, Jack. My daughter who was a total car buff until two weeks ago, now has turned to mermaids. She sleeps with a Barbie Mermaid, hard thing. Best of wishes in the contest, chum, and yes! by all means share the poem with your friend... if your friend is a woman of faith my other poem, angel baby, may bring healing, too. I have been told by several woman who have also suffered this loss, that it brought them peace. Silent cry voices the unvoicable...but is hard to read..hugs!
