Words for the heart
Yet my plate is empty
Starving for nourishment
That will never fill

boast a flavor all their own,
distinctly Iowan, distinctly unique,
Nothingness here is not outshone,
in nourishment or things antique.

The tree’s branches
Lays a nest filled with young birds

With the food for their growth

From God needed enough nourishment;
Daily by Him much surgery underwent;
Quite a Guy;
On did rely;
From committing sin, He would prevent.
