I Depend On You (Septet)

My garden
It thirsts for water
It cries out for nourishment
My garden is me, you’re the water
I need you more than the sun
So never leave me
Here, alone

This is beautiful, and an interesting form. This encourages me to try it. I love the way yours is simple, yet poignant. Great job!....Carrie

Interesting interaction of gardening and love to forward your message in this poem. Nice use of metaphor. Thank you for sharing this style of poetry--I don't think I've seen it before. I appreciate your ongoing encouragement of my writing. Blessings to you. Have a nice day! Karen

what ever kind of poem this is. i enjoyed it. i don't try to use any style, the words come i write them down, and what ever it turn out to be, that is what ii is.. Emily Dickenson was told that her poetry was not poetry, but look how she turned out. but i like the way you wrote this out, loved it.
